Wow. Michigan came within 1 inch of losing this game. At 2:10, 4th down and two, the Alabama defender ALMOST gets a hand on McCarthy's out pass to Corum. That would have been a game-ender. Go Blue.
That moment you speak of, where the Rose Bowl and the National Championship stood on the edge of a knife, was with 3:19 left in the 4th quarter. Yes the edge rusher almost batted that pass to Corum down, ending our season. That was not our fate. As history would have it, the pass was completed and the Wolverines won the Rose Bowl and National Championship. 🌹〽🏆. Hail Hail! Go Blue! "O Fortuna, Like the moon, Changeable, Ever growing.." Now a certainty of history!!!!
You’re first person I’ve seen to pick up on that. I only noticed it after watching many replays. I think everyone was distracted by how wide open Corum was. I’d be curious to see another angle to see just how close he came to tipping that ball.
@@jazzycmk6460I’m with you and him on that too. I think McCarthy may have had that sense too, with a different launch point just enough to stay out of the edge rusher’s reach! Go blue!
This is what my view is like in the "Big House", being seating for decades in Row A in the end zone. These lower seats lack "depth perception", and if you're used to watching from high up on the 50, like TV broadcasts, it can be difficult to get used to. When there is a goal line stand in front of you, there's not a better seat in the house. When it's on the other end, I have my binoculars. It's a trade off. The head coach and players have ground level views, with some coordinators choosing to sit up in the box for better viewing "context". Give me the ground level, I've lived it going back to the "Bo" era. The video itself was not horrible, it was well done. You're perception of it is like 'Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.' - Jeff Lebowski.
