We had a quick but intense storm today. And we had the back door open. I heard the Grey tree frog in my house. He must have gotten lost during the storm and found d his way inside. I left the door open so he could when he felt safe leave, but it was cool. I have never been so close and heard the calls so clearly. They are very cool. Thanks this video helped me ID our outside friend. He is now making his way.
Something in my backyard was so loud last night that it worked its way into my dream. Every time my cat opened his mouth this screeching sound would come out and I didn’t know what it was. Now I know it was toads-thank you! (Also why did I laugh so hard at the last one omg)
Had a clan of tree frogs in my apple tree, every night they came down my vinyl fence to the garage lights and be gone by morning. Now it's apple picking time they moved out and to my neighbors tree. Guess they didn't like all the hands in the tree.
What was the background noise during the toad? Was that a bird? I’m literally being driven crazy at night by this animal that keeps me up all night long… I cannot figure it out, but it is the background noise right after the toad is done doing his croak. Please help!
