I'm 62 years old, and know people who were sentenced in their 20's that never left prison. Smile now , but as the days turn into decades that smile will be long gone. Those people will never forget what he did.
@@BrokenRecord93-ul7brwhy wouldn’t he smile? Now he will be getting free meals that WE pay for and free housing. He wouldn’t survive otherwise, he got what he wanted
@@jahanbaxter you can get a maximum of 50 cents per day with no freedom in prison/jail depending on the judge. If you live freely, you can enjoy what you have and avoid suffering. You can earn enough to deal with life's challenges and live happily.

@@RuthEsther-nn6qeDeath penalty has never worked to deter criminals either. Why? They always think they’re not going to get caught, and many commit crimes in the spur of the moment. Not to mention many criminals don’t think rationally.
@@Bornjamerican24 It’s easy to say with hindsight but the thing to is for none of the family to turn up for the sentence. He would then not have a target to say hurt full things to. I’ll never understand how people think jail is cool… Cant shit in private, cant eat what you want, no women, hard ass bed, gotta fight for your life everyday… Sounds whack as hell..
He is smiling because he still trying to act tough. The problem though is that his behavior and the life he lead makes him the weakest person in the court room. Tough is actually being able to control your emotions and not effectively ruin your life or the life of anyone elses intentionally. Being tough means to win at life with all the obstacles put in your way. Uplift your family and community. Learn and grow as a person and never allow someone to upset you to the point you end up behind bars, missing out on all the beauty that can be found in the world. That's tough. Not laughing about doing something that got you put in prison for the rest of your life.
I hear what you mean but you're saying that as if tough is a positive trait, it's not and never has been This guy is what "tough" guys actually are, idiots

Forgiveness is more for you than the perp. By forgiving you release yourself from the pain and sorrow, the anger and sleepless nights that bearing the grudge brings. I have friends whose son was killed by a drunk driver who even twenty years later feel the pain and anger. They can't let go.
As my grandaddy used to say, "laugh now, cry later." When reality sets in, and he realizes that his life is essentially over, and his family and friends lives have moved on, he will truly be living in his own personal hell. He won't be smiling then. Time will slow walk him down.
Ma cousin said that one day im knowin he was doin bad stuff in the streets an I was right along with him an ma mom picked me up from over there and he said that (Laugh now cry later) fast forward now he's doin 60 years been locked up since 2013
He shouldn't have been a free man in the first place, but that's why you carry. Having no means of defending yourself is a little foolish? He won't be smiling in a couple months. He will wake up and realize, this is home. Around all men living in a bathroom.

1:21 Why would the Michigan courts allow a 3rd time habitual offender the freedom to be on the streets to commit a fourth? that's just crazy. When the judge gives his sentencing there is suppose to be no one talking or cheerleading. The court room isn't a pep rally. My thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and families hurt by this criminal
Your thoughts go out to the family of the victim yet you criticize them for cheering after the judge read off the killers sentence? You say nothing about how the murderer is smiling, smirking & laughing and shit talking/yelling to the victims family as he's being escorted out of the courtroom?🤔 Okay then. Had I been part of the family I too would've clapped along with the others for the sentence he finally was given. You questioned it yourself about how the Michigan courts allowed a 3rd time offender his freedom to offend again a 4th time. So put yourself in that family's shoes for a minute. I imagine just as you questioned the courts allowing him to offend again, that the family probably was doing the same & praying that he did not get a light sentence as he had 3 times previously. So when the judge read off his punishment of a minimum of 70yrs work a max of 100yrs.. I think you might've been grateful, thankful and applauded the judge too. My family and our close friends have been in almost the same situation, however the killer was a 1st time killer, with no previous criminal history. Yet he took the life of a 13yr child. The judge gave him a sentence of only 13yrs. That time will be up late next year. As he had accumulated 2 years of time served.. Leaving him to serve only an additional 10yrs. Talk about disappointment, we were all shocked, but afterwards, the DA told us that he would serve the entire time, there would be no good time, no chance of parole. We were still disappointed to say the least. So, I'm happy that this family got justice for their family member. I'm happy the judge finally laid down the law on that killer. No offense intended, in my reply to your comment.. But I just had to say something. Have a good night.
Sorry to hear you have the same crime issues we have in America. I didn't think Australia had anywhere near the demographic issues we have here with violent groups?
You and I were thinking the exact same thing. They would have had to use those officers to restrain me. Small side note, why did the judge let him keep his "head covering" on in the courtroom? The few times, I was in court, Including jury duty, all males had to remove their hats. At least this guy is off the streets. Unfortunately, not soon enough.
He’s not small enough to be someone’s gf, he would have to get got by a gang or gang leader in that way. However he won’t be getting out. So whether he wounds up regretting it or not he’s not in society to hurt others and I believe in God so he will be judged after here.
We are currently BUILDING a society of people who have no conscience, no sense of responsibility, no sense of consequences, and no hope of ever being productive citizens. That smiling THING in this video is the future of our country. He is a model US citizen of the future.

You should NEVER ever forgive a punk like that, especially wearing that stupid ass hat. Convicts should never cover their heads or wear a hat in court!
I don't know about that. He's a big dude, probably vicious since he's a 4 time habitual offender, he might hold his own in prison..but with that sentence he will most certainly never get put.
Nah. His religion won't permit it. Probably get married and have conjugal visits. Women scroll inmate pages for their husbands. Get their info and start writing them. True. 😂
I saw this and was shocked !! Completely stunned. And young man who complexionally looks like that, guilty of a violent crime, with a gun, by surprise, on an innocent, unarmed person ?? I am just mystified !! This is so unusual for a man of this complexional nature to be involved in something like this. Just shaking my head in utter disbelief. Well, it's like Jump Chambers right hand man said in "Cradle to the Grave:" 'Enjoy the jail sex Fait'....
Unfortunately it's not. In fact, with most criminals nothing is a deterrent. The reason is because the vast majority of these people think they are smarter than the cops and the law. The believe they will never get caught so they don't believe that they'll ever face any punishment at all. I was a prison guard and I talked to many of the inmates. This is what I learned.
I love how my people smile in court as if being a murderer and going to prison is what my people's youth are supposed to aspire to. If theres a "pipeline to prison", this guy is a promoter. Disgrace to the race.
Imagine that being the last conversation you will ever have with the public/ society/ the outside world…. From here on out every dream or desire you had for yourself will be unattainable, he’ll literally die there and no one will care or even think about him after a decade or 2. Truly sad
Did they say four time offender regarding the murder charge? That's a grave injustice to all communities and folks exposed to this maniac. Somebody is negligent in the justice system and should be held accountable if this is the case.
Why wasnt this convicted murderer not in cuffs at least after his sentencing? And why was he not already in cuffs while beinng escorted out of the court room? The officers really need to think of the consequences about this!
