In Todays episode, I go mushroom hunting with my buddy, "Paul Stalemints"....not to be confused with that OTHER guy ;)
We are collecting specimens for MycoBlitz 2023- an open event where anyone can send in mushrooms for DNA sequencing.
Participation is as easy as:
Post to iNat Project - Dry Specimens - Mail them in for DNA

2:40 looks like that tree had a twin it uprooted and took with it as it grew. Crazy it looks like both are still alive 🤙

We've had a decent amount of rain here in Florida, but I'm not finding a lot of shrooms for photos, INaturalist, etc.. Wish I was up north, somewhere...
