We outplayed Bama in the first half. Second half didn’t do anything until the final drive. My heart stopped when the punt was fumbled at the end of regulation. But carried momentum into overtime! Go Blue!
This game shouldn’t have been this close. We did everything to lose and yet we still beat them! We haven’t played a complete game on offense(both run & pass games clicking) yet. Bring on whoever…Natty incoming!! Go Blue!!!
Michigan fan and long time season ticketholder here. Hats off to both teams tonight it was a great game! Nick Saban is the most accomplished coach in modern history and the Crimson Tide is a "Heavyweight Champ". Much respect for Alabama in the way they played and handled themselves - a classy team and university! I am soooooo glad Michigan shut up the pundits on "sign stealing" and "hamburgergate" 😂😂

If Michigan made that one field goal, the game would be over. If they made that 1-point conversion in the first quarter, the game would be over. If special teams had played normally, our receivers stopped dropping easy passes, and we didn’t botch our usual trick plays, the game would have been over early. We probably botched the game in 50 different ways and still found a way to win.

Very hard fought on both sides.The one thing I will enjoy is people saying that we have not played anyone .I have the utmost respect for Alabama and what they have accomplished! I think Saban over coached on that last play, should have had his QB do a run/pass roll out. Running it right up the middle into a wall of Wolverines,really surprised me. Been a Michigan fan for over 50 years, I'll take it.
They definitely pulled a lineman for that play to go left but like someone already stated Sarinstil came off the edge. Stewart pushed his man back and beat him inside. Milroe was upended by his own man who Stewart put on skates. Bama got zero push. They doubled Grant and just ended up clogging up the right side. Derrick Moore beat his man inside too. Just phenomenal defensive line play.
Let's be honest here. Now we hear from the SEC faithful that Alabama wasn't as good as they thought, and their weaknesses caught up to them. It was a very different Bama team. No Bryce Young, therefore Bama's pure passing game was non-existent and was totally reliant upon Milrose running off of broken plays. There was no Davonta Smith at wr (no consistent deep threat). Truly it may be the end of Bama's dominance in college football. Of course they'll be in the top 10, but like Clemson (today), they won't be much of a threat.

This was a Win for Michigan period. Now watch the Big 10 try and claim Michigan as their own. The conference banded together to try and stop Michigan. They shared our signs with teams outside the conference. Every Big 10 coach Michigan played this year said that Michigan would lose to Bama. OSU, PSU, Wisconsin, and Iowa all blew it. Michigan team played for themselves and to shut up the haters.
