God that episode was hard to watch because you quickly figure why she's writing he letters. And that ending, man that ending had me crying so much. And when violet cried at the, my god my heart
@@leahcimmmm yea kinda figured it out when it showed that the mother was sick and then the child crying because her mother wasn't spending any time with her. Me realising that early on in the episode still didn't help with the feels though. That ending fucking hurt
yeah, the Violet Evergarden Soundtrack was really memorable. I still listen to the main theme from time to fime with the poignant a-c-g-a motif. Such a brilliant Soundtrack. Maybe I should do a Soundtrack Piano Suite a la Konosuba Piano suite in the future...
@@Animenzzz That would be awesome if you do that. I'm sure that everyone would love to listen that as well ! But this is a huge amount of work :P You hyped me again ;)
Guys, give some credit to the parasol scene. Made me tear up as hell. Losing a daughter/son is so painful and then you see a stranger fulfill a promise they made. Such a well written episode.
yesterday was the day of the tragedy that no one will ever forget. and today i came across this beautiful cover. i hope everyone's hearts will heal over time, especially all the beautiful talents in KyoAni who have created so much well loved, heartwarming works.
"For the Brooch You gave me, I thank you. For always keeping me by your side, I thank you. For giving me 'I love you', I thank you." - Violet Evergarden
I remember that it is ur music brought me to the piano world in 2015. I went to the Animenz 2017 Anime piano concert holding in Taipei. That was a wonderful night. 2017 After seeing ur amazing performance,I made my mind that I wanted to play all ur sheets by my own hands but I realized I have to learn classical music to improve my basic skills , enhance my fingers, trying to relax myself while playing piano. I started to practice basic skills and found a classical piano teacher. Then I found out that piano was not easy at all if u wanted to play well. Every time I practice Hanon and Crenzy and to be honest I want to give up because it’s boring and machine like. sometimes I got depressed when my teacher said I was not good enough.Money and reality also brought me down and sometimes I doubt myself whether I can do it or not.The teacher was really strict with me and he wanted me to play better and better. When I got depressed or wondered,I read ur anime music sheets that I brought from 2017 and I stopped depressing myself , going to practice basic skills again and again. it is Animenz ur music bring me to know Chopin, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Schumann,Bach and so on. Their music are beautiful and Animenz u create a bridge between anime and classical music. I want to learn it and create my own Anime piece even I am not talented enough. I will advance myself in the next ten years and of course I will follow ur RU-vid channel and Amino. U offer me a dream ( A dream to be a Anime pianist) and I will stick with it no matter whatever happens in the future. Like Emiya (Fate stay night) told himself: even I know it’s Hell ahead, I will still proceed because I have faith with it. I always tell myself while practicing piano and listen to ur Fate stay night UBW Brave Shine. [ be brave be strong because u are not alone] I tell it to my heart. Anyway, thank u for bringing me to the piano world and u Animenz r my Faith. Thank you and glad u are back!
Animenz Piano Sheets I am the one who should thank u for giving me a life goal. I will Continue practicing piano and create the best anime piano piece in the future~~ I hope that I can listen to ur live concert in Taiwan in the next few years.
DarkPooder still need a lot of practice but I have a problem of being too nervous. And I start to learn piano at the age 23. So I have to solve my fingers flexibility and tempo counting in case I learn it in a wrong way. Thank u for asking~ I might not play as well as Animenz but I can try my best in composing anime music though music theory is a bit difficult. Haha
I will try my best. Besides, Rome was not built in a day. As long as Animenz creating new sheets , I think I wil continue learning music theory and practicing piano especially relaxing problem. I want to play all his piano sheets by my own hands though it’s hard and cost a lot of money but I think I will never regret this. If I have a child , I will definitely let he or she learn piano so I can teach them by myself by playing Animenz piano music in front of them. HahaHaXD
There were a few moments in Violet Evergarden that made me tear up. The first one is when Princess Charlotte asks for Alberta’s blessing before her wedding. And then when everyone asks Violet why she’s crying in episode 10, she responds with saying that Anne’s mother will die even though she’s still so little. And then again when that soldier dies but not before wishing to feel some warmth. So Violet reaches over to kiss him on the forehead. Such a sweet and beautiful anime. Thanks KyoAni for everything you’ve done. Really need to watch more of their stuff. And thank you Animenz for yet another amazing cover.

I used to cringe whenever I hear a character say the overused line "you protected me back then, now it's my turn to protect you". But I understand now how much it rang true, and there's no better way but that cliche line. Throughout the years, KyoAni stayed by us whenever we were feeling down, encouraging us through their brilliant storytelling. It's now our turn to stay by KyoAni in their time of darkness. #prayforKyoAni
Since I heard this piece, I fell in love with animenz's arrangement. There is no words can describe its beauty. Anybody still listen to it today like me?
Yes. I started piano five days ago, but I will try to learn this song outside of my practice hours. Me and my sister are having a challenge. Only problem there's only one piano amd two of us. I'm sure this will require a lot of time from my part. She's going for an easy christmas song, but I gotta go for the masterpiece cuz that's just me.
This remind me of the song Sirius’s Heart. There is a part where the singer sing a Morse code for I love you with the parts of the word that sound oike “zutto” (forever)
I recently watched violet evergarden again, and still ep 10 is by far the best ep of all time. Just came here to listen to that beautiful song again. Who else is watching this video in 2021 ??
What Violet thinks when she hear this arrangement: "Will my feelings reach him? I hope it will." :) Thank you so much Animenz for another beautiful masterpiece
*Then suddenly started to imagine myself that I'm requesting Violet to write a letter to the suspect who set Kyoani Studios on fire, saying "I will look for you, I will find you... and I will shoot you down!"*

My heart literally started to ache whilst listening to this, this anime has planted a special home in my heart and flowers in my soul, I'm literally feeling peace
It striked me too. The creator Kana Akatsuki is a Geaniuss when it comes to her storytelling. However, Michishirube is my 3rd Favorite Anime Outro. I have a List of my Top Favorite Outros and Michishirube is Number 3. If you want to know my 2nd and 1st Favorite, do not be shy to ask.
This song holds a lot of personal meaning to me and is hands down my favorite track from Violet Evergarden. Thank you for playing it so well. :) You're an amazing pianist. Keep up the fantastic work. God bless you!!! :)
I'm so happy you did this. Ephisode 10 made me cry my eyes out. The writing, deliver, animation and music to go was soo beautiful. Violet Evergarden will forever be my favourite anime of all time. Can't wait for the movie. Thank you soo much for your beautiful play, it brought me back to tears of joy.

This fits for wedding ceremony. Playing the piano alone with this song can surely let the harmony radiate and pierce to the hearts of the listeners carrying the happiness and sorrow especially the bride and groom.
So beautiful.. i finished violet evergarden few days ago. This anime made me cry many times, especially in episode 10. It was such a moving story. Thank you for your cover!
I'm currently watching all your uploads. And I really just want to acknowledge all the work, time and skill you put into every piece. Every single one of your uploads are flawless. I watch many anime covers and you seem to Always top it. You truly are an unquestionable expert. I just want to let you know your work is highly appreciated and praised❤️. Don't stop playing please
Listening to your arrangement of this ending theme brings me tears of happiness. Every detail in the arrangement is just lovely to listen to ♥ Glad to have you back!
Watched this anime for the first time last week, so happy I can come back to this and listen! Episode 10 made me cry, first time that's happened watching an anime
I watched this anime in school (Yep you heard it right) we had an anime marathon and the whole class got really attached to it. I never know when will those memories be repeated, I guess it will never be repeated.. This anime rooted down in my heart and seeing it made my heart ache even more... Because the good old days of sitting back and watching anime with my friends will never be repeated. I can never listen to this without shedding a tear.
I cried too. You're not alone. This song is powerful and Masterfully done. I always get emotional when hearing this song. However, Michishirube is my 3rd Favorite Anime Outro. I have a Big List of Outros and Michishirube is Number 3. If you want to know my 2nd and 1st Favorite, do not be shy to ask.
Every time that smooth tone pokes my heart, it gives unthinkable pain, a pressure which creates a flow of warm thoughts to become free and know all forms of life and be happy.🖤❤️
Everything you play is a masterpiece that touches the soul. I love watching you're hands dance across the keys. I wish you a full and happy life!! You have inspired me to start my piano journey, thank you ^_^
I feel like I didn't get a proper experience when watching Violet Evergarden for the first time. And listening to this one song is enough to make me go back and rewatch it.
It always amazes me how your arrangements sound so similar to the original, when the instrument is completely different. Your playing is impressive too, but the thing that's actually more impressive to me is that you can retain the original sound of the music while compacting it all into two hands. (Even if I swear I sometimes see a third one.) That's the mark of not just a good musician, but a good composer too. (Even if you're not creating the songs from scratch.) You're a joy to listen to. Please keep creating arrangements.

When is the last time that a piano cover manages to makes me feel so emotional...it's really been along time. The elegant right hand runs, the warm chord voicing, the bittersweet but hopeful interpretation. Really reminds me of your Key medley, this is without a doubt one of your best work man. Thank you for inspiring me, I haven't experience such an awestruck cover in a long while, this really reminds me of why I start trying to make my own cover. Thanks man!
A true masterpiece you have created. The feels when listening to this and reading your description were the same as when watching Violet Evergarden. Well done good sir.
dude, that episode trully made me cry. I think some other episodes were really sad too, but that one just broke me. what a great job and is really good to have you back
im here after watching the movie. there was a long gap between watching the anime and movie but i could still remember everything. this song played at the final resolution and right after i came and searched it up right after. i didnt cry of course but there is a lot of water in my eyes for some reason. my friends invited my to come see this in the cinemas and i deeply regret not going, although watching a movie in the peace and calm of your own home has its own benefits. well its 2am and i need to go back to studying for exams, maybe i will rewatch this wonderfull story again after, probably not though, i rarely watch anime so my watch-list is growing rather fast. i will listen one more time then its time to sleep. goodnight
July 15, 2024. I still love this anime as much as I when I first watched it five months ago. The most wholesome show I’ve watched (coming from someone who has seen many high-quality older movies and kdrama). Every episode had a special and unique interaction involved. Thank you for playing this beautiful piece and thank you to the Kyoani team for your hard work and resilience in the face of hardship and tragedy! You have our gratitude. ❤️❤️

just watching you play is so heartwarming??? the way your fingers just glide across the piano and how they look so light and feathery amazes me. thank you for making this beautiful arrangement
I wished violet evergarden had a second season, but if it did it wouldnt have as strong as an impact it did. It was also just too beautiful. So beautiful in fact, I cry for more than like half the season.
Just like how I wanted to preserve Violet Evergarden's story in real life, I also wish I know more about you, Animenz, so I can move your story long after you pass on... more than just as a pianist that's made an entire library of anime music arrangements all for everyone to learn and play as well - each and every one arrangement, it mirrors the feel of watching the anime, a retelling of its story through a spectrum of emotions laced within each note... It may be rude for me to call out your name, but, Mr. Maik Guo - tell us your story, please. And when you do, please discard your feelings of embarrassment. I'm terrible with words, but I hope it gets to you, anyway. Thank you so much, Maik. For being born to your parents and being given the gift of music, and making an amazing library of arrangements for animes that have been incredibly wonderful to some people out there. Just, thank you, so, so much. I hope you're doing good and are also happy, man. If not, then don't forget about us - we'll always be waiting for the next arrangement, okay? And, we'll be here whenever you need help, we'll be supporting you from faraway places. Thank you, again. 😌🙂😔💜
