Professor Aston could always draws us in with his enthusiasm. ... The close-ups in this clip show the side of him that truly loved his job.. Great seeing the Team leader again

That explains the Hapsburg funeral I saw on RU-vid, which ended with the coffin being carried from the cathedral to a monastery where the whole dynasty was entombed.

Stumbled on to Time Team about 10 days ago- watching at least four each night and a few of the Specials - will start on Season 4 or 5 tomorrow night. Sad to hear of Mick Aston's passing - he sure did like his striped sweaters.

TimeTeam was Mick Ashton. We the people around the world loved how Mick put things in layman’s terms so we all could understand archaeology. R.I.P. Mick
