I have been saying that about legalising drugs forever! The government won't legalise it because they don't benefit. Look at some of the Scandinavian countries, they successfully did it a long time ago.
no they didn’t? scandinavian countries have some of the most reactionary drug laws in the developed world. a few european countries have decriminalised drugs (portugal, netherlands etc) but that’s a long way from legalisation - the profits still go to organised crime and are of unknown purity, quality etc
