myfairytalelife3 Thank you so much for this comment! It's from Mickey's point of view but i really love what you said about the fans and the writers! They created these amazing characters with incredible stories and a love so strong that it's been through hell and they're still throwing rocks at them. It's time for them to give them a little bit of happiness. I believe too that they left it open for Noel to come back to the show but i hope it's as a regular this time and not just a guest!

BigSalamiEdits I was about to hit send on this somewhat long reply about how I agree with bringing Mickey back to Shameless so he and Ian can finally get that happy ending they rightfully deserve, but then I kinda thought better of it and decided that Mickey shouldn't return to Shameless. If he ever does return things might seem okay for a brief moment, but Mickey and Ian will never get a happy ending on Shameless, and then Mickey will have to disappear once again. Our best shot for more Mickey is to have a spin off series of Mickey's adventures in Mexico and then have him sneak back into the US and find Ian again. I'd call it 'I Know This Show Has To Have The Title Shameless In It But I Just Want To Call It Mickey Milkovich Did Everything For You Ian Galagher [And Yes I Know I Spelled Gallagher Like The Tattoo]'. Okayy, maybe we'd have to shorten the title a bit, but a spin-off series would be pretty cool. I mean, many people really like Mickey [like enough to sign petitions to bring him back], and the shameless ratings went down when Noel left, so that's gotta mean something. Right? Now I know this is just me rambling, and what really matters is if Noel would be up for it, or even interested in it if there was a choice, especially cause it really is up to him to make that decision and we have to respect his choice in the end, and I know that both Cameron and Noel kinda have been wanted to step away and move onto other projects, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for them both cause they're both soo talented, but the idea of a show just about Mickey [and possibly Ian in the future] would kinda be amazing.

Ian is Bi-polar. If Mickey stopped him from joining the army then there would have been another trigger that would have led to his inevitable diagnoses. Mickey showed his love, Ian saw it, but Mickey was not ready to come out as gay. Mickey was right when he said his father would kill him, after all, Terry used Svetlana to rape Mickey, or "fuck the gay out" of him. That was traumatic. Mickey out of fear was not ready.
