Emily Upjohn This is an apt one as Mickey has been staying in accommodation that could well feature in a Marx Brothers plot. Emily Upjohn is a character from their very funny film “A day at the races”. She is a hypochondriac who lives permanently in a hospital. The hospital is facing bankruptcy. They buy a horse that has to win to save the hospital. It is about to win-but falls at the last fence. In a final twist the horse that fell had been painted to look like their horse-their horse actually does wins. Saving the day. Brian May was a big Marx Brothers fan. So much so that he persuaded his band members to name two albums after Marx Brothers’ films. “A night at the opera” and “A day at the races”. This did not go unnoticed. I have been following a horse called Derry Lad, because the village I was born in is Tinahely, Co Wicklow with a river called the Derry, caught many a brown trout in it as a boy, it's a bit like the connection you had Mickey with Alto Sax, at 6/1 definitely worth an ew punt. 1.30 C, Aljadel 11/2 2.35 E, Finn's Charm 9/1 3.45 E, Derry Lad 6/1 5.20 T, Rock On Pedro 15/2 Best of Luck 🤞 Punters.
