The bosses make so much more sense here than in Mickey Mousecapade.

I can remember using Minnie mouse to face the Boss since she's immune from their attack.

A very difficult game, I always hated when the crow kidnapps Minnie and rescue her is a total puzzle. However, I only reached the beach and then get killed.

This was my favorite game as a kid, I beat it like 2 or 3 times when I was a kid but still loved playing it

I had no idea there were so many differences between versions, the famicom version actually looks better usually it's the other way around

I always preferred this version because the USA release replaced the enemies with generic ones, including the bosses.

There are several versions of this game, where different enemies appear, i had this version in 90's and it was hard to find this version on RU-vid, so now i know i had Famicon NES before. I also played Super Mario, Battle city (tanks), Popeye and other games

I never did get to finish this game as a kid lol it always seemed never ending back then for me

I do not remember the other games clearly, but my 7-in-1 cassette definately had Mickey mouse (this game) WCW Brian Lara Cricket (hacked sega version) Captain Majid (tecmo soccer) RU-vid would recommend me this video some years later, and it will cherish my childhood memories again through this comment.

I really prefer this version over the U.S one. More references to other disney cartoons. I remember re-watching Alice in Wonderland when I was younger just to see if some of the commonplace enemies came from there. (Some did from the Tulgey Wood scene) More importantly, I finally saw the Queen of Hearts get her comeuppance. (In the movie, Alice just gets away from her by waking up and the Queen of Hearts always scared me as a kid) According to a Japanese strategy guide, the white things they throw is actually an eraser. (Same kind used for pencils) It also lists the invincibility "angel" as Tinker Bell (Doesn't look like it but I did call it that first time I played this)

I was so confused as a kid. First i was looking for Mickey in the Alice movie then i tried to look for Captain Hook in the Mickey's cartoon. If this is today's game, I'd be expecting Moana in the ocean stage and Elsa in the frozen woods, ha.

So this is the Japanese version of Mickey Mouse fushigi no kuni no daibōken it was originally developed by Hudson Soft in the USA version it was developed by Capcom

A charming little game with many Disney callbacks. Tough and unforgiving but once you get the hang of it Mickey and Minnie make a good team with double the firepower. I prefer this to the 16-bit Mickey games.
