And hocus pocus . Or even halloweentown (not nightmare) the song could have been better as well .

That’s because world doesn’t focus on nightmare because we got screwed on the overlay for the mansion, we focus more in original mansion and Hocus Pocus.

We just saw it for the first time this year and I agree! So fun!

I didn't know people hated it!! This is my favorite parade.

As a Haunted Mansion fan I 100% agree that The Haunted Mansion Unit of the parade is not at all that great :( With the exception of The Grave Diggers (6:09) and Ballroom Dancers (6:55). Its the one part of the Boo To You parade that I really want Disney to update.

I would love to know the total number that is considered "as sold out". Went 2 years ago in October and still seemed crowded, we'll see this October if it will be worth it to ever go again with price increases.

Needs more nightmare and Hocus Pocus

After attending last night's MNSSHP, it's probably my last. With increased cost and attendance I feel it's just not worth it anymore. Some rides like Teacups were shortened and Haunted Mansion was so sped up. Lines used to be almost walk on but not last night. Felt sorry for boy in front of me trying to see Hocus Pocus, the frustration in his face was obvious while some in front didn't even watch nor seem interested. Overall park crowds have become uncomfortably rude. Especially in the heat and humidity(80°@midnight!). I just renewed AP, hoping I don't regret.

I agree, The Boo to you parade really needs to be updated! and I don't mean add a new character(s) or give one specific character a new look/outfit, I want to see a real deal change to the parade.

@@chamonix97 I agree and still waiting for night parade. Festival Fantasy is great during the day but Maleficent hasn't been fixed. Disney doesn't seem to care about WDW having anything but DVC rooms added.

Went 16th of October(2018)AP discount rate of $94. Or Disney overcharged. Was hot, humid and crowded. Don't know how anyone this year got $65 in last few weeks.

I wish Club Villian that was at Hollywood Studios could be brought over here somehow(included in the price of party of course since it has become so expensive to attend). I didn't get the time to go to it and it sounded wonderful. Then it was stopped.

Sandra Flores never happening, we don’t get the overlay for the mansion so almost all nightmare is whipped away only reduced to cameos really, unlike land that gets the overlay and has their fireworks and everything to nightmare, world focuses on Hocus Pocus and haunted mansion

yeah i think they're still using it for aurora and phillip, but i guess they have to undecorate and redecorate it everytime there's a mnsshp.

i believe they also use it in once upon a christmas time so if they don't have maleficent fixed which they probably won't, they're gonna have to use it in two parades again.

So why are you watching then? Just skip it! Seriously, why should everyone else have to go without because YOU think it's too early? You wouldn't say that if you were a tourist who could only get to the parks in August and really wanted to experience this. Not to mention when they had fewer dates for this many people couldn't get tickets because it's so popular it sold out so fast. You have a choice to not watch it or go to it, but for those who want it they only get it if it's actually available to them.

This parade needs a major update!

david henry Clarabelle got a facelift last year I think to make her more screen accurate. There is no “non-party” parade, this has been the only nighttime parade at WDW for about 2 years now

I know, right? She's throwing a hoedown but has no date. Could they really not find Horace Horsecollar? Or save Goofy so he could be on her unit? I mean, if Clara Cluck can make an appearance in this parade, along with the Country Bears and Song of the South crew, SURELY they could have found a date for Clarabelle.

she got a makeover [along with horace, mickey, and minnie] and she also got a new green dress for boo to you this year. [it was blue and red last year]

I agree, I think its time for the Boo To You parade to get updated or have it be replaced with a new Halloween parade.

It really depends on where you stand. A lot of the "brighter" places to watch this parade don't have as interesting backdrops for video.

yeah right for filming is good and the first part wasn´t bad you can see something and live you may will recognize more but some where just silhouettes but on the other hand it is an HALLOWEEN Party so spookyness has to be part on that (scary but not so scary).

okay have to admit mostly is nice but on some parts would have been sweeter if they had more lights on there to see what it is DSCHAFAR as the end as example you want to see those characters or THE FRONTIERLAND GANG with the Jamboree Bears and the Priar Batch Gang and some of the performers. But you did a great Job you can see enough of it. thanks for the vid.

regular guests has to leave the park at 4 p.m.? Because seems they will have those on my trip next year this year on friday 7th of Sept (means mostly next year on friday the 6th of Sept) therefore I will rescue myself from that at 3 p.m. switch to EPCOT and end the day there. (maybe on second trip I will consider to do that ???)

Well first off, this is Disney World, not Disneyland. And second...what did you expect? It's a Disney park. If you do want to be scared, then you really are better off going to Universal or Knotts for Halloween. Disney has no intention of scaring their guests with this. Why do you think they've called it "Mickey's NOT SO SCARY Halloween Party" for ages? The whole event is more aimed for families with children rather than horror fans. Adding in actual scary elements would most likely result in crying children and complaints from angry parents, neither of which Disney wants to deal with. Universal and Knotts Scary Farm specifically appeal to an older crowd, Disney is aimed at families.

MrMrMrprofessor ya you got a point there. And I'm just used to calling a Disney park disney land cuz I'm a Californian and the only disney park that Iv ever known is Disneyland. It's just a habit.

Why?

For an $85+ 6 hour event, with only Halllowishes and the parade are the main events, I think this is less festive than Mickeys Very Merry Christmas. Just an opinion.

Price just keeps climbing every year. Add more dates, still big crowds. 3 events+trick or treat leaves no time for meet and greet. I miss the late night closing of Magic Kingdom but not many of those anymore. Party nights and paying for After Hours events or EMH stay on property limits option of a full day in Magic Kindom for the majority.
