Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade Returns to Magic Kingdom 2022 

It was opening night, I was there. The first parade was cancelled and the last one (at 11:15) was postponed, so it was a crown of wet and exausted people lol

I was wondering that too…not sure. I think (been a few years) that used to be at the beginning? Maybe it is too risky to trot the horse when pavement is wet?

Yeah, but unfortunately for opening night, the graveyard float wasn’t working. Thats why the gravediggers were at the end of the haunted mansion unit.

I can't believe no Jack and Sally!

that's the only thing I don't like about the American leg of the Disneyland franchise ... all of the seasonal parades are just repetitive .. like the Christmas one and this Halloween one

Yeah they had two years to change it, but they kept almost all, i think Vanellope's float should be changed into her car pulling the candy train, that's an option to me and the parade needs a new end, the villains at the end it's gettng some bored to me.

It is for children. Children like and learn from repetition. In this case children are suppose to learn Halloween isn’t scary, it’s fun.

Some of the new greetings feel forced but some of them fit in really well.

30 minute parade for maybe 10 units? That’s pretty slow and boring.

It’s probably cuz Sci fi is a part of Halloween.

@@marcuswaterbury7371 Well to be honest Nightmare before Christmas is better then the band. Also, wouldn't the band cost more then Jack & Sally so if there were going to budget cut something (btw I think budget cuts suck) then wouldn't they do it on the band. Honestly what they should have done was just sit down, shut up and pay for the full damn parade.

My thoughts exactly! You have to have Nightmare before Christmas with Jack and Sally. No need for Buzz or Incredibles those didn't belong in a Halloween parade!

I think that this parade could benefit from a much-needed upgrade, it could be like sort of a Halloween version of the Main Street Electrical Parade. There’s a lot of potential here - improving some of the floats, adding new ones based on The Nightmare Before Christmas, Coco, etc. - which, if realized, could yield a real standout parade. Imagine seeing Pink Elephants, the citizens of Halloween Town, ghosts and other creepy creatures, being brought to life with such techniques as LED-light covered floats, blacklight puppetry, and even an animatronic or two.

The Dragon is in the daytime parade. It was never a part of this parade

This is the same Halloween parade I saw maybe 10 years ago before Disney got “woke”.

Halloween always starts in August for WDW, I assume so that more people can experience the Halloween season.

It seems the more expensive it gets, the more people pay out and go, the more the executives laugh and drop quality.

@@brclyn definitely I always say it’s the guests who can make or break a company if attendees drop them the Chapek will get hit where he lives. Right in his pocket. And share holders. Something very bad has to happen in order for this to become a problem. Maybe one day it will.
