Mickey Mouse has been an iconic character since his first short "Steamboat Willie" came out! Today, he's turning 90 years old and we wanted to take a look at how Mickey has changed through the years. Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse!
I first time I saw mickey was in 2006 during (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) I got to admit that show was very good when I was younger, and can Disney bring back the old memories that we unlocked during that time?
Oh I almost forgot. To make the clubhouse appear we need to say the magic words, Meeska Mooska Mickey Mouse. Say it with me, Meeska Mooska Mickey Mouse.
I always loved him with pie cut eyes and no 'perspective' ears :^D like in the 2013 animated serie i was never a fan of the recent one with actual eyes and a beige looking face
Today is Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse's 92nd birthday! Mickey and Minnie debuted on November 18, 1928 at the Colony Theater in New York City with “Steamboat Willie.” Interestingly enough they actually appeared in another short called “Plane Crazy” first!
Valerie Rojas and? Is it 90 minutes more or less? No! And who cares! 3:22 and 3:23 are the same thing! 3:22 is 1 SECOND BEHIND and 3:23 IS 1 SECOND more! So don’t whine just because of something I AM RIGHT ON. So shush that piehole of yours.
I like the classic pie-eyed cut Mickey Mouse and the more mischievous one from playing crazy. But in all honesty I love all the designs of Mickey Mouse.
I remember this Disney character and some of the movies Mickey starred in including Fantasia, The Prince and the Pauper, Fun and Fancy Free, Mickey's Christmas Carol and many more.
I thought it was called no service 😡😡😡😡😡 P.S. It’s just a joke don’t say anything bad about this. I just saw no service in the vid and wanted to make a joke.
Also I've just been wondering What if mickey is 93 in real life years And a younger age in cartoon life Pls dont say any rude replies like calling me a dumaz or saying no to me or starting an argument because I have feelings and I'm only 8
_I think this is a great video but I’d just like to say a few things: one being that Oswald the lucky rabbit was not the first character Disney created. This is the second most common misconception people make about the first Disney character being created. If I’m not mistaken, Julius the cat was actually walt’s first creation in 1922 but I’m not very sure if he was even popular. The first Mickey Mouse character to be created however WAS in fact- nope, again not Oswald but in fact: Pete the cat. That’s right, it was Pete. But not the same Pete that you know him as today. He was actually a bear back then. Same personality, same dress wear- same everything! Except for of course he was a bear. He debuted in Walt Disney’s laughogram produced cartoons titled “Alice’s wonderland” (not to be confused with Alice in wonderland) which would blend the live action character “Alice” into the world of 2d cartoons. It was pretty brilliant for it’s time, but then what was to come next? Why, Oswald the lucky rabbit of course! And here are some reasons for people thinking that Oswald the lucky rabbit was Walt’s first character: one - he was his most successful at the time. Two - people had thought it was mickey until Oswald made a comeback as “a character before mickey” thus making it seem as if Oswald was the very first. I highly doubt that anybody has even read this whole essay I’ve written but if you did you are a legend. Get schooled_ *😏*
@@randomcatonxbox Oswald wasn’t the first one, did you read my comment? Disney created Alice’s wonderland (not to be confused with Alice in wonderland which was in the 1950s) came out in 1922, and had characters like Julius the Cat and Pete, whereas Oswald came out in 1927. That’s a 5 year difference. So it’s clear that Oswald wasn’t the first Disney character.
The 1940s version (the one they went back to in the 90s) is my favorite. The 2013 version only vaguely resembles Mickey, and he reminds my of something you would see on Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network.
Those lines around classic Mickey's eyes in certain shorts ARE the outline of his eyes! The black parts are the pupils. It's crazy how many people get that wrong, all because the modern design shrunk his eyes. Just look when he blinks in those old cartoons, it isn't just the pupils. Think Felix the Cat, Sonic, or heck even Disney's own Goofy, who originally had the "big eyes" design, then got smaller eyes from the 50s to 90's, then returned to the classic big eyes to this very day.
Fun Fact: Mickey's first words to be in an animated short is "Hot dogs!" Hot dog! Although they mentioned that fact at 1:25 so... but still hehe mickey humor
I reall y found the whole animation cartoon "surprise party" from 1939 super impressive, so are the design, since 10 years before it was a very compact and simple cartoon design, its a shock and absolutely stunning
I love that Oswald the Lucky Rabbit showed up in the beginning. I created a cartoon character called Teame Gatorson which was an original character in December 2023.
