You know, in the 80s , everyone loved the Tiger LCD games even though they were lame in hindsight. Makes me a little more forgiving when looking at these mini units. And your videos have been nagging at me to start collecting the mini arcade units simply by being so enthusiastic and well done. Keep this content coming, my friend.

These mouse like squeaks don't disrupt the game like the rubbing leather headache inducing sound of the 40th Anniversary My Arcade Pacman micro arcade game. Also I like the Ms. Pacman / ghosts roll call. I may want to get one. Thank you for uploading!

Considering the fact they crammed at least most of the boards in and the machine being credit card sized, they did a dang passable job. I'm honestly impressed and might pick one up if I find one in the wild.

I think this is my favorite Micro Arcade so far. I like seeing them make little improvements over time that push that capabilities of the limited hardware.

I played this why doing laundry today. I made it past the 3rd intermission where the stork delivers Baby Pacman. Unlike the Arcade the maze level before the 3rd intermission this tiny version the power pellets have no effect on the ghosts, while in the original arcade version the power pellets still work even though fast. After the 3rd intermission the stage is purple just like the arcade, but still the power pellets do not have any effect on the ghosts.

Yes all four color mazes are in there as well as the 3rd intermission with the stork delivering baby Pacman.

You may be right. I believe my viewers deserve me to continually adapt and evolve based on experience and new information. To maintian the same opinions regardless of new data is to stagnate.

Looks like a good little system. My 7 year old would like it. Something you can keep for when the lines are too long and the kids need a distraction.

I have the same feeling about the Tiny Arcade TMNT arcade machine (was playing it while I watched this, still trying to beat the highway section). It's limited compared to the original, but what it can do while cramming it into such a small package is still impressive. I also have to admit, when I heard the sound when you played the unit, I was reminded of a Tiger handheld game.

The Pocket Players are much more playable. These Micro Arcades are almost more of a novelty.

@@GenXGrownUpHere is an update, I have just now looked up "ms pacman micro arcade" on ebay and NO JOKE, the only things that popped up were from My Arcade, I can't find it to save my life, which makes me wonder how you got yours, if you don't mind me asking :)

@@GenXGrownUp I even tried adding "super impulse" to the search and it only gave me the pac man version, plus more from our friends at My Arcade. IDK what it is, I wouldn't worry too much about it though, as it stands I currently have zero funds to spend on such devices, but it would have been nice to have the option......

I feel like they've just about maxed out what I assume is a little piezo speaker. To get much better they'd need to bump up the hardware - and I'd be cool with that!

It plays surprisingly well. As I noted, a bit slow, but quite playable.

@@GenXGrownUp Yeah, I heard you. Appreciate the opinion, I ended buying quite a few of the My Arcade units from your reviews. And also avoiding a few too when you highlighted issues lol it’s just with this micro I got all hyped from your enthusiasm being gen 5 and then saw your gameplay footage and thought....ohhh. If they were a bit more attractive and practical for display I’d be more forgiving but the target market seems to be for playing unless for the complete one off novelty factor. Onwards and upwards, they’re all nostalgia I guess

Besides the worst sound I don't see how it is any different from the Tiny Arcade Ms. Pac-Man they released years ago (the Tiny had all four mazes I'm certain this does as well, and it IS NOT impressive that it has that). This isn't Super Impulse improving or learning a thing. If it was fast like their Hello Kitty loves Pac'Man Tiny Arcade and it saved the score on turning off then I'd feel they redeemed themselves some but your praise of Super Impulse and their half arsed nostalgia cash grab is making me sick as I watch this video. By the way the actually circuitry of the Tiny arcades isn't any larger (nor different for the most part) than the Micro Arcades it is just the larger (better) speaker and removable non recharging batteries that make the Tiny arcade larger.
