Ill watch for the micro bird of time build with interest. I love the shape of the bigger brother and ive even had the plans enlarged for a 4.5 meter version.

That's funny, as last week I also took delivery of a P1B-1 Sky Voyager but from Banggood as they had them on offer below £15 in China. I bought it because I've been wanting a go at some rubber powered glider type models this year. A DT is a very good idea and Joshua has a video showing how. I also last week received the range of micro gliders that Angel Wing Design offer. Like you with your micro BoT I will be building them as light as possible to get the best performance from a mini hi-start. Looking forward to seeing the Sky Voyager and BoT built
They look nice .Just built a Wood Chuck from scratch from a outerzone plan 28" span 2 small servos with internals should be 150g, glider or micro electric motor i'm just up the coast from you Tywyn .be on ebay in the next day or two .Onto building a trainer for a mate now .3 channel
Thanks for your quick reply....I think you should be safe by now....anytime I've ordered from the USA I've been hammered by customs duty....the law in UK is that anything of value over £18 is due a customs duty, not only that, Parcel Force or whoever delivers the packet adds their own fee on top of that, so an item that is , say, worth 100 USD ends up actually costing around 150 USD....so much for free trade! Mind you, that kit looks pretty awesome.... I had a full size Bird Of Time, lovely model, lost it in a massive thermal, wings folded when I tried to fly out of it....was never the same model again!
