Oh my goodness, that looks like so much fun!! When I was a young girl my sisters and I would catch crawfish with a piece of bacon, string tied to a pole and a safety pin to hold the bacon and slowly lift them out of the water. Wonderful memories!! Daniel you are an awesome dad, you spend so much time with your family, so important to their lives. God bless you and your family!❤️🙏🏻🇺🇸

Those boys will grow up fast , and they will cherish every memory you have provided. You are an awesome Dad. My Dad took me fishing when I was growing up,many times. On a pond that had 4 lb blue gill and crappie. I ran out of bait , and dad was on the other side of the pond. I figured out that red ,unripe, black berries, was a great bait. I went to go pick some more berries and while I was standing there a water moccasin slithered between my feet. I almost needed a clean pair of shorts!!! Have fun..!!!!

When I was a child, we vacationed on the north shore of Lake Michigan near Menominee, Michigan. We would hand pick crayfish till we had about 50-60 then my father would boil them. We ate till we were full. Fond memories.

I so love the videos, Daniel, with you and the boys at the creek. Reminds me of my childhood at sleep away camp. I grew up in jersey city NJ. The concrete jungle as they say, no opportunities to experience much of nature. When I grew up and had a family I made it a point to go to the state forests nearest to make sure my children have the opportunity to experience as much as we could. Love to you and yours ✌️❤

Raw fat greasy bacon is a great bait for crawdads! The oil draws them in as it drifts down stream. From what I see it looks like you have a little experience doing a Boil Pot! It looks YUMMY! Great Job! I made a small net with the outer side edge flat so you can put it flat on the bottom behind them. Then I used a stick to poke them in the face. They did the backup jet thing right into the net. It works great!
