I’ve learned to absorb more impact with my legs when landing on my FR SL. I’ve also been meaning to try a thin padded insole. But I’ve got a great snug fit so an insole might make them too tight. Worth a shot though. I’ll take the trade off for the performance I get out of them though. I love my SL.
@@ThirtyandRollin yeah you gotta slap your Endless 90s on ‘em! Endless 90 on my FR SL is my daily driver/favorite setup. I also would not like a 2mm banana rockered 4x80 unless I was trying to do slalom.
I urban skate with 248 mm slalom frames (among others) and it definitely takes getting used to. The biggest downside, tho, is you will be falling more often compared to larger rockered frames. It’s doable, tho, and the extra mobility is fun to play around with. Thanks for the quality videos.
@@jhng3544 Really depends on your foot size and what you are doing most with them but I am a size 41EU and for all around urban skating I enjoy the 4x100.
Micro has slightly lower prices, and great quality(though these brands are above too) and the fit is anyway different in Igor's and Delta F's. Anyway, brands give more models to choose from in different budgets. It's like to ask why Rollerblade made the Crossfire model when there are a lot of slalom models already. Nowadays sportsmen use FR, Powerslide, Micro, Seba, and Flying Eagle for slalom. For example, there is Micro Delta F2 White which is actually unique color in carbon boots for fsk/slalom. So some will choose because of the color as well.
@@Inmoveskates there is only the fr spin on this price point (about 350€), the others are pricier. Plus the cuff can be highted, so it may be better for commuting in the city.
Hello, Thanks for this review! The situation around Seba, FR Skates and Micro is still very confusing. Boot-wise, what are the differences with the FR Skates SL ?
