THIS. My first pair of skates as an adult were the rollerblade fusions and I HATED the Velcro straps on them. Felt like I could never get them tight enough, and it didn’t help that the skates were heavy and slow af.
I think the 84" Howies Waxed black and blue hockey laces would look amazing on these skates. I also think once the velcro fades you can fix it, but a carbon cuff with a buckle would work. As for the odd sized frame bolts, just go to a hardware store and buy a replacement with the correct sized Allen key head. I did this on my Seba Highlight Carbons and SX
Once I got used to riding rockered frames, I never went back to solid frames. I find solid frames too rigid for me to maneuver, but that's how I learned when I first started to ride. Did you have to break them in? Or were did they contour to your feet right away?

leogurl816 Save your money. Don’t waste it on the Powerslide Next. The next is a very cheap quality skate. I’m on my second replacements. They are very very very cheaply made.
Wow, really? I’ve tried to find some reviews and opinions online about the Next skates but couldn’t find much, except for Reddit. Most of them seemed to be positive, so I was a little surprised by your comment. But thanks for the tip, I might just go ahead and get the new all-black Zoom pro 100s instead, since the reviews for them seem to be consistently positive (and I’m open to whatever other skates you might suggest also). The mounting system on this skate is barbarek which puts the boot a mile off the ground. Look how high the sole of the boot is away from the top of the wheel. This is totally unnecessary and just a poor design. Imagine an ice skate this far off the surface of the ice. It looks crazy. Look for a skate that have the top of the wheel actually countersunk into the sole of the boot. That would put you as close to the ground as the wheels allow. I like what Powerslide has done with there Trinity mount system that allows the boot to be lower to the ground. All these companies like Flying Eagle, Seba, Micro, FR and others that make a top quality boot and top dollar need to get with the program and start making a good mounting system. But that costs big money and it seems they don't want to retool like Powerslide have done. So vote with your pocket book and don't buy this crap.
Looks like cheap copy of the seba trix. What a shame to see a chinese scooter manufacturer arriving on the market and copying the greatest skates...i would never buy micro!!!
