Gave them all a poke a while back, wanted to keep up a bit. Good content for the level I'm at is why. I'll look into fpv later on. Got some crawlers. Lol.
I bought one of these as soon as they were released. I got it and excitedly played with it for 25 minutes before the servo horn came off. After re-installing the horn, the car went wonky donkey and didn’t want to drive more than a couple inches. Tiny FPV is fun, I just wish it had more torque, and the build was better quality. I designed an FPV mount for the Turbo Racing Baby Monster (on thigiverse) and put the camera on that truck. A much better experience! The only downfall is you don’t have much space for a larger battery, so the car lasts about 10 minutes.The turbo racing truck is more capable.
This is something ive wanted for years... the possibilities for this thing are endless. And I thought Mario Kart Live Home Circuit was the coolest thing ever. This blows it out of the water.

I've been doing this FPV malarkey with my crawler for ages. If you get hold of a AIO camera (eachine make a good few) and some 1s batteries, you can mount it on anything RC. Crawling is awsome through the goggles. Great vid again. Car looks great fun for blasting around the house when it's raining....cheers
this is what i was talking about - micromachines irl! i used to think goldeneye multiplayer was the most fun you could have w a few mates and some bevvies, but this has potential!
Diatone make wicked products, purchased loads at a good price over the years, and never had any issues at all. They are wicked for anything FPV. The quadcopter frames are wicked from full size, down to micro quad size. Couldn't recommend them enough! Wicked vids by the way TRC, keep up the good work 👍👍😎
What a stunning review of a pretty decent fpv kart, others I've seen fall way short of any fun and cost a small fortune. Love the hide and seek idea, fun until the battery runs out.
Really awesome ride and review, Tomley! 😃 FPV is a heck of fun! What I most like with rc cars is to go to my parent's farm and explore there with a WPL crawler! 😃 There are some cheap Eachine cameras with VTX integrated, what we call an AIO... And all you need to do is to stick it to the car with double sided tape and give it 5v from the receiver. That's all! About the FPV goggles, I guess it was set to the wrong channel. And there are lots of them... And it generates interference in other channels some times... So you probably searched and the goggles landed in one of those interference channels. 😕 BUT... Good antennas can help a lot! I like to use an Aomway clover leaf antenna and a RealACC triple feed patch antenna. They're cheap and pretty good. Or you can go premium, of course... There are lots of options! But you need to be careful about the polarization. People normally use right handed antennas. The issue is when you have right polarized antennas in the goggles, for example, and left polarized in the car... They won't work. (That's why I like the triple feed, it's both in one, you just need to connect the correct side to the goggles.) Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊 BTW, anything you ever need about FPV, feel free to ask!
Hey could I ask you: Is it possible to tear down a mavic mini 2 and use that fpv system? Aside from the obvious difference in price to regular fpv setup, I would think that would sort out the range problem? Where I live only 25mw are allowed, so I don’t quite understand why people don’t go that route.
@@jotcw81 Well... Certainly everything is possible... But it wouldn't be easy. Because it's not a separated thing, it's all integrated into the rest of the hardware. You know? But... To be honest, you wouldn't need it. DJI sells a FPV system as well, which you could use in anything. They have the goggles, a few different cameras from a few different brands and so on. Just search for "DJI FPV system". 😉 But the range, unfortunately, wouldn't be much better either way. 😕

Unfortunately it's too far and I don't think I'm going to go there anymore. 😕 But I do have a few videos about the FPV part, the issue is that they are in Portuguese. 😬 I also have a few videos of riding with the crawler in my other channel. lol cute video getting your little one involved.. I have 3 young daughters and they are truly my best buddies. we come up with all types of fun with rc.. It would be cool just to have and attach to another vehicle of rc choice..

Hi Phil, that’s the best fpv picture I’ve seen, it’s very sharp and crispy, the picture outside is really very stable for all the size of it, even though the ground was quite bumpy for it . Niiiiiiiiiiice one. 😎👍👍👍🇬🇧 Ps…..it had me chuckling all the way through the video, lolol

I think this the future, it is time to add FPV on all RC car professional race. I believe RC car professional race is very primitive as it is static over many decades and doesn't follow the technology innovations like FPV. For example DJI are million years ahead with their rc drones and FPV system.

Nice review. Now you have the monitor why don't you buy a cheap AIO fpv camera and mount it on the Willy's Jeep. Powr the cam from a 3.7v feed from the balance connector

I see a friday night race coming up with friends... A race with 2 laps , winner drinks a shot. Next race , winner again drinks a shot. After 20 races nobody will drive straight😂
This is so much Fun...;) And now think of being in the Air;) I fly FPV and its a Hell lot of of Fun flying Freestyle with a Drone. I tried this with a Crawler... Also lots of Fun. Go for it...I like watching ure Videos...
