Yasssss come through with the tip to save the day! Wetting the hair with hot water was by far the best advice anyone has given!!! Literally wasted a whole ball before seeing this and now I’ve separated two with your help!! Using for some mini twist with some hair from the hair store that don’t come all pretty like the online sellers! This was clutch!!

I totally did my daughter’s microlocs wrong. I had to install 8 due to breakage but I didn’t wet the hair nor did I feed in the hair I just braided it down and loc’d with a tool. Still works but yours looks so much nicer. Thanks for the videos.

Hi! I size them according to hair density of each client. Typically a little bigger in the very back and smaller in the middle of the head. Everything is dependent upon hair density 😊
I also have traditional locs and my loctician will be taking them down then she will be installing micro locs. My locs now are about 9-10 inches and I have fine hair. Do u think I should get extensions after I take my traditional locs out? I just want to keep my same length cause I know I’m going to lose some hair after the traditional locs are out 😞
Understandable. If length is a concern then yes the extensions will work out fine. I would say wait until your locs are combed out to make a final decision.
Can these types of locks be done a little size up? Do you recommend going a size up? Thank you so much! On the scalp I use a little gel to help with clean parting. After the install I spray with water and follow up with an oil. That's about it.
