Micro Machines are Back! How well do they race? 

As a guy who markets brands for a living, all I can say is whatever Jazwares paid you, they didn't pay you enough for this bit. This was a tremendous promotional video - highly informative, entertaining and beautifully shot. It's obvious you are excited about this product and convey it wonderfully. Well done.

Cool that they're back, but look like a cheap knock off version of the originals. None of these are real car models, unlike the originals.

The city looks cheap compared to the originals, the old toolbox city was so detailed and I loved the fold out box expansions you could get.....not to mention the game on the mega drive!

They don't look like the originals from my childhood but it's a nice effort to bring these back and to be fair, I loved their compact size as indeed it made easy for a play area to look big. I sadly gave all of mine away over the years but I still found a tiny bus in some of my old stuff and still have it in a drawer so I can confirm what some people remember, they were really a mix of plastic and metal which gave them a great appearance in comparison to the ones seen in the video.

I have 2 Full city's from the 90's including the hummer city. Not to mention the OG Super detailed micro machines, there are tiny people in some of mine! Cant wait to get back home i know what im doing!

Microvan City was the best Christmas gift I received as a child. I was in love with MicroMachines, its crazy nostalgic to see its return.

With this video I relived my childhood. Have great memories of the collection I had of over 300 cars.

Hey! I’m 11 and some years ago, my dad gave me his old micro-machines. It’s super fun to play with them!

I started buying Micro Machines when I first found them at the local grocery store back in the late 80's. I have a nice collection.

Yes!! I was part of the team that did the paint schemes and design of these new MicroMachines. A bunch of the pieces in this vid were designed by me (the entire fire/rescue team for example). As a graphic designer and Die-Cast collector this was a dream gig for me. So cool you guys did a piece on them. I love your channel so this is extra cool.

I paid $50 for the 1996 indy 500 starting grid micro machine set. Worth every penny and happy to share micro machines with my son!

Oh ya Micro machines! I'm 35 and my kids have my collection now and the toys still get plenty of use. Super cool there back.

"Micro Machines come in collections of 5" - I too moved from Matchbox/Hot Wheels to Micro Machines. We used to race them down a slope at school, a far cry from race mountain! Great they are back.

Given their size you could set up a mountain track much longer than your usual 2 turns. That would very exciting - but a lot of work, I'm sure. If anyone can do it, you can!

I'm pretty sure there was like a firetruck at a store once, that held a city like this inside it. It was probably micro machines. But I think it was a returned product, so my mom convinced me to not get it. It seemed too good to be true as well when I looked at the box. It was everything I wanted from a toy. This van is so cool, I wish I had something like this as a kid.

As a kid, I had Toolbox City. Micro Machines were great, but I actually had no idea they'd disappeared! Good to know they've been given a new lease of life. Hopefully, today's kids see value in them!

great to see Micro Machines returning as a product range, I was way more interested in them than matchbox etc. The connectable city blocks were a great range, had maybe 4 or 5 of them alongside the VanCity & a couple of the military base sets.

But is the build quality competitive with the OG Lewis-Galoob stuff? they had really nice diecast chassis too. Also the retro gas can playset was the best, with the worm-and-wheel elevator powered by the rotating gas cap, and the full slide and tunnel leading out of it, plus the rearside parking storage.

What I loved about the original ones was they were fully licensed.

Wow, this feels like an extended commercial, as to how I would imagine it in my head, fantasizing playing with them when I was younger. And that’s not a bad thing! While they are wayyyy different from the ones I played with as a kid, it's still so cool to see these making a comeback! I hope they expand on what they have and get back into some of the originals they carried!
