Here is a pattern with a million...trillion possibilities. Small bait fish patterns can be extremely effective in any situation. There is no doubt this will change your game when fishing any type of water.
Nice pattern Jonathan! Micro minnow flies don't get the credit they deserve - if you think about how few of those hundreds of small minnows you see in the early summer actually survive to be two inches long you have to realize how many of them get eaten! I always have a box of 1 to 2 inch streamers in my vest and those flies account for a lot of fish. Cheers! Hank
Johnathan, Thanks so much for sharing your creative talents. Was wondering if you thought this hook would hold up on Lake Erie steelhead? I’m always looking for a new emerald shiner pattern and this thing looks like the ticket.
Awesome pattern again Jonathan, thanks for the recipe, not only once but twice! Honestly I thought you'd put it in the description but I think a few people never read that anyway so thanks none the less. 👍 It seems that BSI foam glue is a major component in the construction, glad you held that up longer this time. I googled it after your last video, I'll have to look for it next time I'm shopping. I've seen a few videos using some type of Gorilla glue that floats when dry. Can't recall the names, they used it for floating terrestrial bodies. Do you have any on the water fishing your flies videos? That would be great. Thanks again JK, you're so creative and an excellent tutor, wish you many years of success! 👍😎
Thanks! No I have not had issues or even noticed the glue being an issue. Good info though! I am planning on doing more on the water videos as well. Just need the time.
Hello sir I am interested in your installation of Micro Minnow of the video on RU-vid, I wanted to know where I could buy the tail that you use for the editing of the streamer. Have an address to provide me or a link where I can take care of it ( knowing that I live in France). I thank you in advance.
Hello Eric, my name is Siggi Már and I am from Iceland. I have bought these tails at: www.nordicanglers.com They are a great shop and and have a youtubechannel that is: @nordicanglers The owner is reallyniceand he is @Daniel Holm
Grand Wonder it’s not always easy to film this portion as I do most of this solo. However, I am working to add this to most of the videos. If you were to play with the materials you would quickly know it’s flexibility fairs quite well in the water.
