Your morning started slowly, but those shoreline tuskies made it very good, very fast! In answer to your question, "YES! i would like to see a lot more of this kind of fishing. Just once, in the Out Islands of the Bahamas, I found big bonefish cruising the shore inside the surf line. It was sight-fishing very much like what you experienced-without the boat and the Spot Lock. By the way, a couple of months ago, I happened to see a documentary that explained what why that moray you saw was slithering along on land. These eels can apparently breathe air for short periods of time, and they actually hunt crabs this way! Best, Chris (Maine, USA)
What a session Brooksy mate! Congrats on the new channel (just subscribed of course) .. it’s a great concept. Always been a fan of your vids and your presentation style and the land based theme in the mix is going to please one heck of a lot of LB fishos like myself. Best Regards and good luck to you, Charles
hi friend, greetings from me. we have fun where we catch very fierce land monsters, and of course have their own sensations. Let's go on an adventure to Indonesia in search of the excitement of catching very fierce land monsters
I'm stuck in Scotland 🏴 and that's winter here so the fish for me will be very cold until March / April next year so I'm very jealous off this but I love ur videos and the change onto the landbased stuff. Keep it up mate and tight lines for ur summer months. 🎣🎣

Living my dream haha, was looking to get my first ZENAQ rod, do you reckon a PA108 could deal with a kingie? I'm from Victoria and thats as tough as the fish get. I know that rod is on the lighter side but I'm mostly landbased. Cheers mate.
@@rockshorebrooksy6262 They're just small rats down here (nowhere near as big as the ones up where you are) and not many come in close to the shore anyway. I'm looking at the rod for mainly salmon, snapper and tailor off the beach, but on the .01% chance that I do hook one up, it'd be good to know the rod can deal with it.
@@chrisnguyen3211 just check the rating on the rod. There's always a small chance something huge will strike small ish baits but trying to get an all purpose rod sensitive enough for fish in the kilo range that will also handle a 10+ kilo kingy isn't a good idea imo unless you absolutely can't be bothered to bring two rods. With a heavier setup you're going to miss a lot of bites and if you're trying to hoist up a heavy fish out of the water on light duty gear where it's too rocky to land then goodbye rod. Yesterday I was watching the latest episode of The Lateral Line and the boys had "a plague of snappers" crushing the burley (chum bag) when suddenly two huge kingfish showed up ready to eat and there's no way the snapper outfit could have handled those fish. Okay maybe if played perfectly and extremely lucky, but if I fished a spot where big fish sometimes show up I'd rather be prepared to switch rods or say bye bye while crying.
Yeah na idk man. Obvs way harder to catch a fish off the rocks but I guess people want to see fish landed for the video. For me the mission leading up to getting one from land makes for better watching ✌️
When I was a kid I tried to grab a moray that was out of water like that. It of course immediately bit into my hand and I was bleeding like crazy. One of those "what was I thinking would happen" moments.

What are you up to Jonny? Hit 100k and decided to do it all again or what? Did your channel get hacked because you hit 100k and foolishly replied to a fake email from RU-vid asking for your password? Or just ADD-AF? 😁 (I mean that in the best way. Love ya big guy)
I enjoyed the video, but missed the fish ID. Is it a Parrotfish ?? Also, what is the thing you kept punching buttons on while fighting the fish ?? Looked like a GPS, but what were you doing with it ??
Mate - You are asking for trouble with that remote control setup... (pretty cool though I wouldn't have that much faith in it in a remote location. Haha)

Lol. I’d watch anything you’d put out. You’re a true character and pretty much the main reason why I watch, and I’m totally envious of your chosen profession, keep on keep’n on.
