OMG, thank you, very helpful. The stress of getting an appointment, following countless (but necessary) procedures, paying a small fortune and in most cases leaving unhappy. I am really committed to doing my own hair. Thanks for the video, this really helps.
@@tameca107 hi I’m a new subscriber, ive watched many videos alot of people said it can last up to 8 weeks you said up to 8 months. Is it hard to maintain?
@@xAshleyIsBeautyx Hello!!! No not at all! As long as your hair is healthy go forward with it... the only thing that would be the best fit is after about 3 months doing a deep conditioning and ends trim. However you know a lot of people are not frequent end trimmers. But yes ma’am... you can shampoo, condition and tighten . Hair didn’t shed any so if i saw shedding then I would have taken them out. Microlinks are not cheap so long term wear is possible. Just have to know your hair.
Omg thank you for this video this will be my first time trying micro links and I was concerned that because my hair was too short that it wouldn’t look right. But yours look amazing 🤩 and definitely gave me some courage to try them on my own. thank you sis.
2 years late to this but you made it make more sense then all the videos I’ve watched and that’s a lot of videos ❤️❤️❤️thank you for doing it without over explaining!!! They look amazing I think I’m ready now🥰🥰 THANK YOU!!!
This is wonderful! A lot of people are asking the same questions, probably not realizing to check the information box, it will be very hard to answer and respond to every single person once you grow in subscribers, but I love that the fact you are touching base. Blessings to you, He has his hands, on YOUR HANDS!!!!
Gayle Williams Well Thank you love! You can do it.... just remember not to close to the scalp... close enough but not tight....and leave enough for coverage..... and make sure her hair is healthy.... your going to love it!!
I believe you did a very good job on it I was wondering because of the length of your hair but it looks wonderful and if I didn’t just sit and watch you do it I would never know he did a really good job
Oh my goodness. Idk that this could be done at home on your own. I was about to pay HUNDREDS on the hair and install but I think I can do this or maybe have a fam member help with it in the back. It turned out soooo pretty. Thank you for doing just your hair & not braiding it or mixing it with sew-ins, etc. Very natural. Quick question...how do u remove them? Great job.
Yes ma’am!!!! Go for it!! You can do it!! Just make sure your hair is healthy!! You can do it! Order the tool from Amazon. Microlink tool…… that tool has holes on it that allows you to place them in the hole to open the links. It’s easy!!
@@Destinyatk Why not Boo!! I will never ignore anyone. I try to be active as I can. Being a stylist I stay busy but not to busy that I can’t respond. I’m grateful that you took out the time to watch lil ole me. 😂 Hope all goes well when you install. Make sure to shampoo, condition your hair real good. The link will let you know how much hair can be pulled through. Pull enough so that your hair will not pop. Little strands will. You need a free families together🥰 Make sure your ends are clipped and leave enough coverage out.
@@tameca107 Ok, great advice, I will. I'm a lil nervous but I got a fam member to help me do it. I'll have your video on as we go along. She watched it too and now she wants them as well. She was going to get a vixen weave but she likes this method & wants to try. Thank you so much...
You did a splendid job. I really enjoyed your video... You and your Boo remind me of me and my Boo. He would have been right in there with me too. So proud of you and happy for you two. Tameca You Rock and thank you so much for this tutorial. I am like you can do my hair myself and save my money for school, me and my family. Makes a lot of sense to me.
Your such a beautiful soul! Thank you for your kind words!! 🥰 Thats my Love Muffin! My Hommie, Lover, Friend!! He is so Adorable! 💗Yes very talented and I Thank God for the ability. I am a cosmetologist and I help all of my customers. If they can do it at home I will tell them or show them. God supplies my needs and I’m booked EVERY DAY! If I can help I will and I’m happy to hear that you can benefit from it💕 your going to love them. No more tracks
@@tameca107 See we need more blessings like you in the world. God gave you a beautiful and needed gift for those who are not daring or just like to be pampered. Being pampered I am all for it. However, school is a tremendous expense on me and my family. So, I have had to be a lot less pampered and now taking on DIY looks. You just don't know how much you have blessed me. Tameca I am a cancer survior x 3. I began loosing my hair in 2006. I ended up having to cut it all off because chemo is a mutha. My head was as smooth as your face. Well I am thankful to have been able to regrow hair at all, but the thickness and texture did not return. So I improvise... Those are tree braids you see on my profile picture. I my sister am not a hair person. I do not like doing hair at all. I love to cook and work as an administrative analyst in my city. I love styles where I can shower and go. I will hit you up when I order the hair and get it done. I am going to make you proud. I love your kind spirit. Go radiates through your videos your kindness and love for others. Keep doing what you do. It is because of people like you that I live. I still have a wonderful medical team and Boo thang. I wouldn't trade them for anything.
@@monicaleach3786 well PRAISE GOD! Now that’s a story to be told!! 🙏🏽 GOD is so GOOD!!! I am happy to hear all of this!! Trust the process!!! Yes makes big mama proud 😜just kidding! It’s ok hair doesn’t make you! Love your spirit as well! As long as you have God and supporters you can conquer anything! I’m excited and don’t get discouraged!💕If at first it don’t work, try again. You can add a lace closure to where your part is going to be if you feel like it’s not thick enough for coverage. Where it’s a will, there is always a way! Now be GREAT!😘
Lol I’m sorry!! I am going to order more hair soon and I Promise to do a more detailed video and pull it all the way up. 🤣 Thank you so much and Thanks for watching 💕
Thank you for the video to see how nice it looks on short hair I've been depressed in the house laying on my hair and I just went to get it trimmed and I had to get more trim than I thought so to see how easy it was for you to do I'm going to go for it in the time it took me to in the time it took me to find this video on someone who actually didn't use tracks I've made my own I tips LOL
Ohhh No Friend!!! Don’t be depressed!! 💕You have so much life in you!!! 🌞 Happy to know that you have gotten up and grabbed life by the neck!! 🌎 Go into this whole big world and be GREAT! God Bless you!!! Yes ma’am!!! I ordered them from Amazon and now that your hair is even and healthy, go for it! Just remember to leave enough for coverage and it’s all about placement. Where you place them, that’s where they will fall!! When you put them up you want all links hidden. If some are visible just remove them and place where you can’t see. Nothing hard about it. If it’s not full enough then go back in and try to add more but make sure to add enough hair in the links so that it’s not hanging by strands..... add more to the back and just don’t pull your ponytail to high....you want enough hair in the link that it’s no tension. Hope it works out for you. I will be doing another video soon. Thanks bunches for watching 😘
Im trying my own head next month...cant wait. Im getting good at doing my own hair. Just taught myself silk presses Refuse to pay 500+ for microlinks 🤣
Beautiful sis!! And leave my brother in law alone..let him want it to be known that you're Mrs.Croom for a reason!! Haha That noise you played for him tho! 🤣😜
If I get the right vendors I can do this more in my shop and take time out to do it myself! I have done utip fusion on myself but this vs glue i think this is better
@@lyricofficial1516 if you find one het me know. I can’t find one😢 when you ask other people they will not tell you.... like I don’t live beside you! We are in two different places. It’s enough money to go around. I was scared of the glue. Thank you
@@tameca107 yes girl I researched lol So I partnered wit several yesterday I do not mind sharing. Lol thats whats wrong with people your right! So here's my IG because the list is too much to put here @lyricofficial20. Or email nbbmagazine@gmail.com then if you would like to make a sheet and share to your RU-vid that wud b cool!
@@tameca107 figured out how to do this easier lol. Go to Alibaba and search vendors. Im the only vendor in Philly now with microlinks, n loops. So reach out to different vendors like Eeni of virginhairvendor. They are one. N ship bulk business to business. So register ur biz n get the Vendor card through Alibaba n u should b good. Lol. I had a long list of vendors. But if I just help u with the site you can go from there so u can help in ur town! 🥰
My hair looks EXACTLY like yours does except it’s blonde.. blonde and I think it stays in place whenever I move it because it’s nothing but an empty shell of nothing since I kinda stripped the hell out of it!
Tameca Croom before your do a take down. How long do you keep them in ? I saw that some people do 12-14 weeks but do a tightening maintenance at the half way mark. Do you maintenance? I would love to see that as well.
T. A.S yes you can... I have a customer that has had hers for about 8 months... I recommend taking them out after 4 months to trim and treat your natural hair. I will soon do a video on removal. I don’t keep styles long... just me.
This is beautiful. My hair NEVER stays straight and usually breaks when heat touches it. It’s like some type of weird soft bouncy fragile thin curl. It takes a perm beautifully then breaks off 😂😂 so if I link it it has to be links in its strongest curly state. As soon as I find some hair to match it. It ON LIKE POPCORN😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks for watching! Sounds like your hair is soft and you can’t do much to it. Just be careful and make sure it’s strong and healthy before linking your hair. You don’t want any surprises when you take them out
Yes !!! Look fleek . Thanks for posting . Can I ask how they holding up? I installed mines now have been in 4 weeks I like them only lost about 10 but it was my first time.now mines are becoming very dry but i don’t tie up my head for nothing what do you use in yours?
Thank you Beautiful!!! Oh no.... that’s a lot... so I flatiron my hair first but I haven’t lost any. However one of my customers lost a few I’m thinking because of the straightness. Next time I will not straighten it first. Now the upkeep is better when you wrap it. The hair is dry but I use Razac hair cream on it to give a shine and moisture. Not a lot because it can be oily. I just bleached it and loving it. Made it a lot softer. I ordered some kinky curly hair so stay tuned for that video.. curly is very hard to find. Thank you bunches!
Jessica Pfuhl I don’t use anything thing other...... Love this brand!!!!❤️ BaBylissPRO BABNT3053N Nano Titanium Mini Straightening Iron www.amazon.com/dp/B075LMF5NF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_rFc.EbFA0MNC0 I get all of my flat irons from CosmoProf but this is the smaller version. I am using the 1 inch in this video. Hope this helps
The results are beautiful ❤ How long do you keep them in ? And how often would you recommend to wasch your hair with it for long lasting. Plus how do you get them out 😅 Could it cause breakage ? So many questions 😅 I am trying to subscribe but it doesn’t work. Just letting you know there might be something wrong .
Thank you for watching. ❤️Refresh and cone back to try again…..maybe restart your phone… maybe 🤔 ok I kept them I. For a few months but they can be worn up to 4 months. After that I would tighten…..my customers come once a month for shampoo service. If your hair isn’t healthy going into them ….yes breakage can occur….. you have to treat them just like your real hair… wrap them up ……hope this helps
I have it in my cart right now. Are the links lined with silicone? Can I do a rollerset on it? I don't really like putting heat in my hair, so I still use rollers (lol). Also do you get the dirt knots like with braids if you leave them in too long?
I’m going to be as honest as I know how. These slide after a while. The i-tips hold longer. You can get the same hair in i-tips. You will just need the beads. Yes you will but for some reason it doesn’t knot up like they do with braids.
@@tameca107 I knew you had to be a professional stylist to be able to do such a beautiful job on your own head. It’s hard especially working on the back of your head without really seeing it. That’s awesome 👏🏾!
I don't know the actress' name, but she was Cedric The Entertainer's girlfriend in the Steve Harvey Show. I think you favor her a bit. I'm telling my age here lol. Idk who remember that show.
Thank you love!! I kept them for two months but you can keep them longer depending on your hair care. I have customers that keep them for a year if not longer but the maintenance is a MUST! Some come every week for recurl or style and some every two to three weeks.... shampoo, condition and tighten. Tightening them often keeps the build up away, those links can get nasty overtime like braids. You can wrap them just like your hair. I Love them.
How many did you need to use this would be my first time trying it the video was kind of fast so would you be able to slow it down because I didn’t get how you put the clips on
Just depends on how full you want it make sure to order at least 200 grams….I used 192 links for a full look. Everyone is different but I did more videos on this that may be a little slower. I’m sorry!!! It was some of my newer videos.
Hey dear!!! I’m sorry 5mm beads. Micro link Beads 5mm for Hair Extensions, Silicone Lined Rings Hair Extensions Tool - Black…… Amazon is where I get mine from. Thanks for watching ❤️
michelle eust no ma’am I didn’t... you have to take care of it just like it’s your hair. When we have a head full of hair that’s not ours we sometimes overlook the caring process but being that your hair is a part of the process.... make sure you wrap, comb and moisturize just like normal and remember to add enough hair in the link so that it’s not just strands. If it’s thick enough to go through the hole then go with that amount. Never just strands.... Hope this helps
Oshawa Shanae WELL!!!!!!!.... pretty much the same concept.......only difference is...... what I have, nano ring already comes with a pulley and the bead is connected. All you have to do is run your hair through the pulley, pull them clamp. The I- tips you will have to have the beads, thread the crochet hook with beads then put one on your hair and then run the tip inside of the bead and then clamp together...I-tips are more work
I'm completely natural and don't use heat on my hair. I order some links to try. Do I need my hair straightened to put these on or can it go on my natural hair as is (I'm 3c/4a)?
Depending on the texture of the links. If they match your hair then you will be fine. If not then yes in order for them to match. However you may can install and then do a natural style or twist out 🤔 hope this helps and Thanks for watching 💕
Yes ma’am I did...I let someone do it one time and it turned into a whole haircut. So I said SELF!!! SELF said huh 🤔 I said that’s your fault because you can do it yourself!!!! .....so I have every since 🙌🏽
Oshawa Shanae Lol my hair is trained to heat.... you know hair creates memory. What you do to it over and over again ..... it catches the memory of it. Just don’t over flatiron it. I’m a platform stylist and I use to style for Basic. That Amino treatment was EVERYTHING!!! That’s when I started training my hair... so now it just stay straight when heat hits it... even in the rain.. it will start to revert but once I wrap it..... it’s straight again
The very hungry caterpillar by Eric Carle In the light of the moon a little egg lay on a leaf. One Sunday Morning, The warm sun came up and popped out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar, he started to look for some food, On Monday, he ate through one apple, but he was still hungry. On Tuesday, he ate through two pears, but he was still hungry. On Wednesday, he ate through three plums, but he was still hungry. On Thursday, he ate through four strawberries, but he was still hungry. On Friday, he ate through five oranges, but he was still hungry. On Saturday, he ate through one piece of chocolate cake, one ice cream cone, one pickle, one slice of swiss cheese, one slice of salami, one lollipop, one piece of cherry pie, one sausage, one cupcake and one slice of watermelon. That night he had a stomachache. The next day was Sunday again, the caterpillar ate through one nice green leaf and after that he felt much better. Now he wasn’t hungry anymore and he wasn’t a little caterpillar anymore he was a big fat caterpillar, he built a small house called a cocoon around himself, he stayed inside for more than two weeks, then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon, pushed his way out and.... he was a beautiful butterfly!
