I have the same EasyAir model and had the same exact problem. After trying to get a hold of them for several days and emails back and forth, they never responded with a resolution. I attempted to start the unit several times and then it began working all of a sudden. I have a unit from 2001 and I know it was drawing a lot of current. Not sure what happened, but the EasyAir began working after several tries and I was able to connect to the Bluetooth and monitor the amps it was drawing, which decreased as the EasyAir learned the unit.
