Just to let you know...of all the Micro (Mini) Brute demos I've watched so far, this is the one that's helped me make my mind up as to which will be the next to add to my collection. No doubt about it, Brute is the right name for this beast. Excellent demo.
Thanks for the great patches - I'm learning a lot. Just got mine today and already getting pretty comfortable with it (and wishing for a few more controls likes LFO frequency) but having loads of fun.
YES! This demo nails it with some great Kraftwerk sounds right off the bat. Ugh, you have no idea how many horrid synth demos feature some nerd talking through spend 95% of it about the amazing filter and modulation potential blah blah blah and you barely even get to hear it. Refreshingly, you just got right to what seemed like a list of my personal faves and didn't stray into the temptation to explain it all. Thanks!
I appreciate your videos. I actually bought one of these microbrutes, and what you show with using a splitter from the LFO to "2" different inputs in the mod matrix (or three) is where the magic is. :-)
i'm having a really hard time by deciding between the Arturia MicroBrute and the Korg MonoLogue, but I tihnk your videos convinced me to buy the Microbrute. You totally blew my mind, keep up the good work!
really nice job. I'm a sucker for replicating classic presets. I owned a minibrute but recently picked up the micro brute because it sounds so much more punchy. If I had to keep one I have to say it would be the micro. Sometimes less is more.
How did you trig the boss drum machine with the microbrute? Did you use the cv gate in or out of the microbrute? and on the boss machine? great 'brute lines!
