Bypassed the high and low pressure switches doing this. Should have ran them thru the pressure switches then to the contactor.

Why most people say use map gas, I used it it wasn't sticking no matter hot much heat I applied to it. It was beading up on me.

Can you use just a map gas with the tip ? Is this enough heat to repair it? Or do I need the mini tanks torch kit for the coil repair? Also thank you for the tips

I have to admit there’s many times an oxyacetylene rig comes in very handy however on aluminum?? You needs to have the steady hand of a surgeon seems so easy to blow a massive hole in the aluminum

So the kit is basically a $5 stainless brush and 1 foot of aluminum brazing rod ?

I can’t get my braze to stay. It’ll flow over the hole in the micro channel but once I let it set I can flake it right off. What am I doing wrong? It’s on a vacuum and everything

You mention don’t use a turbo torch ?? How about a soft flame torch tip such as the turbo torch tip “MSA-8” or an asco soft flame tip ??
