Thanks for the tutorial. I have an old Rodan & Fields tool and just upgraded to the Microderm glo. I think you can rinse and wash those tips and also I thought when doing microdermabrasion, you should move upwards not downwards to avoid promoting sagging skin.

Great review! I do wanna point out from personal experience and probably 15 years of age on you, I wouldn’t use it downwards on the bottom part of your face or it might create sagging skin, I use it upwards works great and actually helps tighten that skin that is starting to sag a bit. Otherwise thanks so much!

I have age spots on the side of my face and I was wondering if this device with the diamond tip would help exfoliate the skin overtime.

Yes it definitely helps to exfoliate the skin. I used to have dark age/ sun spots and what helped me fade them the most was a really good vitamin C serum every day in the morning

Hi, Thanks for the detailed review. Just one question, on microderm glo website they suggest to use peptide complex serum. Whereas you suggested retinol. I understand they almost work alike except the difference: peptide helps in healing & repairing from “sandwork”. Any suggestions??!

I just used on my skin what I would normally use to moisturize and rejuvenate it. The retinol serum I have also has hyaluronic acid as well as vita E which is said to help rejuvenate new skin! I have plenty of my own products so I didn’t feel like buying another serum at the time to be honest! I can’t speak for their product but I’m always happy with the results I achieve

Great video! Was there any swelling or redness shortly after using the tool? Or did the products you used after prevent irritation or dryness?

If you avoid what I did the first time- pressing too hard, then there shouldn’t be any swelling but there sometimes can be a little redness from the exfoliation. And Yes the products you put on after using the tool will help you avoid dryness! If you have issues with dryness I would recommend a product with Hyaluronic Acid!
