A triangle foam pad, liquid barrier, finger loop across so it becomes flip-able and both sides usable, one triangle end reducing in height for small spaces. Suede on one side, micro fibre on other side sewn in. Matt will love that, solves all problems 🎉😅

Just bought more TRC towels, but I'm very eager for OG microfiber 4.0 in the sizes and colors that were mentioned.

The Autofiber Flat Out is the best mitt hands down.

I just bought 3 bags of the Pluffles before they’re discontinued. I love these so much I’m gonna need these to last the rest of my life lol. I’m tellin ya, a damp Gauntlet with some detail spray/drying aid followed up by the Pluffle as a final Polishing towel is amazing.

Matt-Please consider the Rag Company Ultra Safe Sponge for rinse-less washing. It is much better than those chenille style pads and having to flip towels around. It doesn’t use as much liquid, safe on surfaces and is easier to manage as far as flipping. When you pull it out of the bucket give it a squeeze so that it is just in the verge of dripping and begin washing.

White as a final wipe towel makes total sense, as that's the step where if your towel catches a speck of dirt, you want to be able to see it immediately. Make the border OG Blue.

Matt, when ya gonna get them to do the Hex cut on the gauntlet? Would look sick to see the hex instead of the basket weave style on the gauntlet towel. Almost a honeycomb style would be cool and I bet it’ll still perform! If it happens I’d like a cut from the sales please😂😂 jk. Thanks for all your input and dedication for so many of us. Wow I didn't realize how much I would enjoy this video, I'm a huge microfiber fan, so I guess that shouldn't surprise me. Love seeing the considerations behind each of the towels.

This was an awesome video. Even though I have some very different towel preferences, I really like the ideas you guys have around some OG branding and having one big retail box of everything. I'll definitely pick one of those up once they become reality. The more I've been using Koch Chemie Rapid Rinseless, the more I like it. It has a really different/great scent and feels extremely clean. The cleaning power is far above McKee's, ONR and Absolute (also one of my favorites for different reasons). It melts bugs, dirt and grime off of coated cars really really well. I know you will never do rinseless on wheels, but it is something I do frequently and it works great for that too. Autofiber has a couple different applicator options that I don't think I saw you try (at least on camera). They have a four finger mitt style with the barrier, and also a mini sponge style that has a suede material (also with the barrier). I was always a fan of the Optimum foam applicators that Yvan now also sells under his DIY/C6 brand. They don't waste coating, are easy to hold onto and are flexible enough to fit in nearly everywhere despite the hand-size surface. I've gone back to them and have really been happy with them.

I’m surprised there’s not more love for the double twistress, it’s like a bigger thicker ftw. Does the job of the gauntlet and ftw in one, just isn’t as plush feeling. I am excited for new ftw and liquid8r colors.

. I’ve been using my 15 x 24 gauntletbought from OG for Rinseless wash for a long time. When folding them 2-3 times you’ve got multiple sides of a super thick and sturdy absorbent towel. Hold lots of liquid. I think it’s the perfect and safest way to wash. Use them for soap wash as well. Use 4 towels per car /truck ! Owen - Atlanta

I’ve been pretty happy with the eagle edgeless the 500 GSM one 16 x 16, I think it works great because I do a lot of waterless washing the thing I don’t like and the key to this towel is don’t wash it all the time they say wash it before first use…..I use it straight out of the bag…. and the key is to ….not really wash it even using the right microfiber detergent, it loses it’s ability to absorb water, jumping to foam pads, I’ve been messing around with SPTA The red ones you get like 10 of them for a pretty inexpensive price, but they were pretty well what I do is actually wet one with water using ultra lock, it just makes the ultra lock spread much thinner.

Personally, I am a fan of the old optimum foam applicator pad type for applying coatings. It holds onto you, fits into small spaces and it uses a lot less coatings when compared to micro fiber blocks. Also doesn’t smear/fold over around like some of those thick no soak applicators do.

It would be awesome to see the whole line of towels in the same color with the hex logo. Would compliment the pressol bottles well. It would be nice to get the coating towels numbered like autofiber has.

This wheel wool finger mitt is my endgame wheel cleaning tool. I wear gloves when working with wheel chemicals so I have never experienced the 'sliminess'

Actually there is exact type of applicator that Matt wants but it's manufactured and sold by certain chinese brand which is the problem for him. I like this guy, he's meticulous with choosing products but man is he SO biased when it comes to anything chinese. I get it, there are a ton of knock off manufacturers there but there are also some chinese companies that actually innovate and try to make quality stuff believe it or not. If he only tried to be a little less stuck up and be open to try some stuff at least and not dismissing it at first glance...

White FTW with OG blue boarder in 16x24. The 16x24 makes it so your fingertips don't hang off the edge.

Bummed they’re discontinuing the Platinum Pluffle. It’s the only towel I buy from them. I do like the Gaunlet but since i switched to a blower I only need a finishing towel which the pluffle is magic for. I think I’ve tried ever other towel from TRC so if anyone reading this has recommendations of a comparable towel from another source I’d really appreciate it.

How bout maybe a silicone tuck block for suede application??? Then you have pliability, and it would hold. Also small

If the vehicle is coated, I've started just using the FTW towels after using the EGO blower. There isnt enough water to use the Gauntlet. I wouldnt mind just having a bigger FTW towel to dry.

If you are looking for a new Rinseless /Waterless Wash - consider --Ultima Waterless/Rinseless - from SkyTheLimit !!! It’s an incredible Rinseless - blows away the other heavily marketed Rinseless (McKees/ONR) ect. Ultima isn’t marketed but incredible !

Good stuff Matt. The white FTW does sound very nice. Have you looked into the Autofiber Coating Applicator Foam Block? They have two versions. Just from looking at it online it could be similar to the Meguiar's one you like.

I probably shouldn’t say this, but a cool towel with the OG logos with the border would totally hook me, like clear out everything and start over….so don’t do it 😅

I had a question do you ever foresee you have any issue with the hex logo with Kobalt using a hex logo also? If you read this comment you are amazing with the detail you put into the array of products you carry.

Make the FTW the same colour as the light grey on the Gauntlet, and the wheel FTW the same as the dark side

Getting into the off road industry could be interesting, but Im not sure they are so hardcore about detailing versus just cleaning their vehicles

I think he thinks he is gonna be able to dry a car with a white towel and it not get dirty but the thing is drying is part of the cleaning process....its gonna get dirty

Matt making towels exciting. Rag Company guy… BOOORING… love the towels. These guys always study the algorithm to see what’s gunna get the views. The people want towel content… obviously.
