Microsoft Fabric End-to-End in 60 Minutes 

Martin Catherall will show you how to build an end-to-end analytics platform using resource available in Microsoft Fabric. The session will showcase Data Factory, Data Lakehouse, Power BI, and Azure DevOps.
You'll learn about a common pattern to ingest, transform and visualize data, all inside of Microsoft Fabric. Data Architect Martin Catherall will start with a blank canvas and end up with a fully featured Power BI report using the data that he will ingest from a publicly available source. He will show you a complete end-to-end demo from ingestion to modelling to visualization.
You will learn how to:
* Ingest data from a data source into Microsoft Fabric OneLake
* Transform ingested data into parquet and delta formats using a notenook
* Model data within the Power BI service
* Produce a Power BI report within the Power BI Service
Martin Catherall is a Data Architect working on Microsoft Data Platform technologies. He is currently based in Brisbane, Australia. His career has expanded from the world of SQL Server Administration and T-SQL development to encompass data engineering and architecture on the Microsoft Platform. He has been a recipient of the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Award since 2014.
