Hello Ed, I am an ETL tester. Project recently shifted to fabric Lake House. I can not run SP_help to validate metadata in it through SSMS.can you help?
The T-SQL surface area in Microsoft Fabric is not as wide as in other SQL Server products. There's an article here that goes through some more limitations: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/data-warehouse/tsql-surface-area Unfortunately it's not very detailed, so you're going to have to do a bit of trial and error to try to find a way of getting the information you need. But remember, all data is stored as Delta under the covers, so you may be able to also use Spark Delta Lake metadata queries to get similar information.
