Haha, but being realistic here, they are not going to put a half finished building into the sim. It's like when Big Ben was being renovated, just imagine if they put the version covered in scafolding into the sim, that would be crap! 😁 Photogrammetry doesn't take any prisoners, so I guess these objects would need modelling.
On the other hand, it does appear that there are still only cuatro torres in the Cuatro Torres area of Madrid. There are cinco torres there now, but numero cinco is still pretty new, and this imagery likely predates it.
Very nice! I like this format where they have enhanced high profile cities as a group, rather than just isolated areas of a country like the previous City Updates. This is the first one I'm actually interested in checking out, enjoy!
Thanks devs for fixing the terrain maps at DFW. You still need to fix the terminal A side of the field - especially the taxiways. Are you also going to fix MCO? That’s a hot mess…
Go watch the latest development live stream and you’ll find out why they can/can’t do South America, why don’t you go watch that first and understand how Photogrammetry Data is gathered before blabbing about nonsense that takes forever

Looks like Monaco, Nice, and generally the south of France will get an update, and maybe either parts of the alps or parts of the italian riviera? Guess we'll have to wait.
Post SU15 Update: ATC voices still cut out at random times requiring a reboot of the Sim. It is astonishing that 3 years after release the ATC voice system is still not equal to the system used in FSX, a program that was released nearly 18 years ago.

Dear Microsoft, Dear Asobo, Please watch this video closely and be the judge whether SU15 has improved or worsened the reality-killing stutters throughout this amazing software. Then please ask yourselves why... With so much delay in relasing SU15, what may have gone wrong?!
Rumoured to be the next world update. Do remember that part of the reason for so little on South America is due to issues in actually getting terrain data and stuff from the governments

@@Duquepilot These do not magically fall from the sky. If there are no local companies that take flights to gather data, then how are they supposed to update anything?
@@juniortsfAs per their saying they try. But they cannot get data from these countrys (due to local governments). Just look into their livestreams where they have explained this multiple times
@@superdiomond2138 There are always workarounds to at least make the terrain look better. There is a shit ton of clouds glued to the terrain in South America, and it looks terrible. I'm pretty sure that Asobo can fix that
@@PilotSeb They still need good data to work with and they won't be able to ignore the governmental demands. And a huge huge part of SA is barely even mapped to any modern detail. Also many poorer countries want more money for their data.
Go watch the latest Development live stream and you’ll get your answer as to why they can’t/can do Brazil and many other countries, you should find something to back up your claim before you go and ask questions
Sorry I'm not sure but I don't think they can add photogrammetry to Turkish cities because, from what I see on Google Maps as well, there's no 3D modelled cities in Turkey either, which might be due to the laws in Turkey I know this sucks but it's just how it is in certain countries like Russia and China for example, the government doesn't allow 3D photogrammetry from "western" companies (outside from their country), which is why we only get 2D satellite images and only basic building generation on flight sim
Finally, Nice and Monaco (hopefully Cannes also included, haven't checked yet)! Been waiting for this forever. Thanks MSFS team! Edit: sadly Cannes is not included at all, a big missed opportunity, but otherwise the scenery is awesome
As much as I like the looks of all these photogrametry cities, the runways of the airports in these cities will get the infamous PG cracks and rifts which will make proper landings impossible.
One of my most memorable disappointments from the early days of the sim was visiting Monaco and seeing what a mess it was. I hope I'll be a little less disappointed on my next visit.
To get this level of detail (buildings, skycrapers etc) is it about the TLOD and OLOD max settings? Also SU15 broke the maidera airport, there is a big hump in the airport and runway. Please fix it.
As someone who remembers well the first rendition of flight simulator can I just please ask all the whingers to just appreciate what we have today and stop complaining about what we don’t have 😮
@@Duquepilot I don't want to defend them, but they rely heavily on good terrain/map data and photogrammetry. If that is not available, you can only do this by building it by hand, which is far too much work for things like complete cities.
@@Duquepilot is not their fault that many countries dont have the data to add photogametry and new areial to the game just goo google maps and you gonna se the same , too expensive for them shoot everycountry just for a game.
Please be patient, you need to understand why they can/can’t do certain countries with photogrammetry, in short it requires a whole bunch of things which each country’s government, watch the dev livestreams to find out more
Perhaps do the overflight footage from a few hundred feet higher ;) that close to the ground the cities just look very strange. A little higher and it looks absolutely photo realistic!
What a shame that SU15 has now made the draw distance so poor on Xbox that it’s just frustrating. Ok it crashes less and the black avionics seem to be gone but it just looks so bad the immersion is gone for me personally
Sieht sehr schön aus allerdings habe ich mit dem neuen Update dermaßen Probleme in VR. Das ruckeln ist so viel mehr geworden als vorher und das Game wird unspielbar.
I would recommend setting everything to low first then slowly increase settings until you hit a fos limit … TLOD needs to be very low (80-100) and cloud low and use DLSS performance see how you go. (Cessna 152 to start with) Having said all that I used to have 2080super and managed half decent performance but now on 4090 I still have to tweak settings down a bit.
You need to understand why they can’t do those countries for updates such as these, go watch the development live streams to find out, it’s kind of annoying to see these kinds of comments on every dang trailer they make
