Microsoft PowerPoint 2013/2016 pt 2 (Design, Transitions, Animations, Rehearse timings...) 

+V.RANJANA KRISHNAN They give you 2 options when u use the Export - Create a Video, one option is MPEG4 and other is WMV. I have not tried uploading any videos on FB but I think MPEF4 should be a safe option. Did you save your work? You should not have any issues reopening or slide show.

+Amir Parmar Hi i tried saving in gif,wmv,and pps formats but not opening with animation it is opening without animation only in internet explorer. it is opening in slide show only. (power point ). i'm using 2013 version. how to save & use it in fb or some other social medias .please guide me sir.

+V.RANJANA KRISHNAN you should get an option to save the file as Mpeg4. When you go to Export - Save as Video, choose the video size and click as SAVE VIDEO, in the save windows, look on the bottom part, you will see MPEG, if not change it. the transition that you have applied to all slides will work here too, make sure to click on Apply to All slides when choosing transitions.

check to see if the file has been saved in office 97 - 2003 format. Otherwise it should work. Open a brand new file and see if the Transitions are there. What version of PowerPoint do you have?

Not sure about an add on. But why don't you use the Record Slide show option under Slide Show tab and record the narration. This way when you play the PowerPoint, the sound will play with it. check and see if there are any blank slides.

Interesting question, never though about it. From what I understand, the background color will effect the transition color. The first transition might be black but starting 2nd be the color the theme background. Will let you know if I find something else.

Dimi Ford Hi Dimi, the curtain transition uses the layout of the previous slide. So you can start with the curtains displayed (slide with no transition and use online pictures to search for the curtain) and use in the second slide the curtain transition. Good luck.

Once you are done creating all your slides, save the file as a "PowerPoint Show." This new file will play the slides automatically.
