I can’t assign tasks to anyone. Can you help me work out how do I do this ? What does ‘people in my team’ mean? I’m the only person in the office using this online project plan 1but I want to Nassti g the task to the 3 colleagues so they can see their work flow. Thbaaks thanks
Hi Robin - you can only assign work to people who are part of your team. To be part of the team, the other users also need to be licensed to Project for the web. You’ll need a Project Plan 3 license to schedule the work and assign your team members. Hope that helps. Email us at Info@WesternPrinciples.com if you need more help. Also - have a look at the new tutorials we just loaded up ok using Project for the web.
Good question. This is one of the customizations you can do to Project for the web. You can create and apply a work calendar -- and make several work calendars available for a project. This is explained well in the Microsoft documentation. If you need more help than that, reach out to us at Info@WesternPrinciples.com and perhaps we can set up a short engagement to help you. See the Microsoft documentation at docs.microsoft.com/en-us/project-for-the-web/create-and-apply-a-work-calendar
A good question. No - I don't think so. However, Project for the web has many improvements in it, even since our August video. We'll be doing an update to the update soon.
