If you drop your controller on the sticks a couple times you’ll experience stick drift.. If you have kids, you’ll eventually experience stick drift.

I just stopped playing Xbox about 3 years ago and changed to PC. By far a much better experience.

Dawg cloud gaming is great, but i had to connect my Xbox series X and ps5 to ethernet cords to get the "best" possible experience. I also pay the highest tier of internet allowed in my state, which gets me 1 gig speeds on wired, all this and I STILL rarely ever use it because its just easier to install and play the games in the best possible settings available. no 1080p, no random jitters, but it HAS drastically improved input latency, so MASSIVE props to microsoft and xbox for that

11:26 never had stick drift on my elete controllers. Shoulder buttons however are a common problem

I never understood why people get mad over what platforms a game is going to lol you still get to play the games and if your on gamepass you dont have to buy it like the other consoles do so a game going to more then 1 platform does not affect you whatsoever. A real gamer does not care, a real gamer only cares about playing games and having fun and thats it

I personally have never had an issue with stick drift but my wife gas goe thru so many controllers because of it. I just got my first controller with paddles and its been quite a learning experience. I got the PDP Victrix BFG and its it sooooo smooth. I love it.

Square Enix made a statement, that they want to bring all of their recent games (which includes FF 7 Remake and Rebirth), to the XBOX Series X / S. I believe it when i see it. Square Enix has to do a lot of redemption, to the XBOX community when it comes to their game library. FF 7 Remake and Rebirth would be a good start.

I think it's a good idea and knew it would happen sooner or later. We live in a technology driven era so it makes sense.

seems cool to me. I've been out of the gamer game for a bit now, been trying to figure out what console to get and kinda want to see the new Switch 2 before making a choice. I have a firestick, this could hold me over until I save up and make a choice. might even tip my hand towards picking a new xbox. i think this move is probably for people like me, people that used to game but got out of it and see a easy cheaper way back in while figuring out what kind of games they are into. or people that travel and can now plug a firestick into any hotel TV they come across and get in some game time.

This runs great on the 2nd gen cube too if you side load it, no problems at all. My only complaint is the library, prefer the PlayStation plus library.

I recently got a controller with Hall Effect joysticks and triggers. I feels really good and I mainly got so I don't have to worry about drift anymore.

You can clearly see the delay on that TV when scrolling through stuff. With that type of delay playing online games wouldn’t be worth it.

It’s pure stupidity. Streaming video games needs to go away. It isn’t good for everyone unless they have a great internet connection. I have fios and even with that it simply isn’t like hardware based games.

I personally use cloud gaming on my tablet, with a 5g connection it's not too bad. Not pc quality, but still doable.

Its very simple; either have a direct fast ethernet cable or you cant play intense games

I like the idea of the Samsung app and the fire stick. Not everyone can afford to go buy another system

Consoles are always a loss for whoever makes them and sells them. When I worked at Circuit City a short time in 2001 they sold us products usually close to cost plus a percent. I got some good deals on some stuff. However, do not try and buy a game console using your discount because you would pay more.

Games are for children. Remember when we adults were once a child playing on Nintendo PlayStation or a early Xbox. Sometimes our parents couldn’t afford a game system, but we had a nice TV. Remember when you were in high school and you would work at the grocery store to get you a PlayStation plus card or to get you the new game that came out. Imagine the child that doesn’t have a system that has a TV that can run Xbox game cloud on it. He can he can get a controller that is compatible with his TV. App he can pay for a streaming service. It gives people who can’t afford much a chance to game like the rest of us.

Crazy you never get drift. I go through an elite controller every Six months. No I don't throw it, I dont intentionally abuse it. I may press buttons hard but that's it and it's not intentionally hard, it's just how I press

Stick drift and trigger issues don't happen on hall effect controllers. They just refuse to release a controller that has those features. Cloud gaming is not ready for most people without fiber. Microsoft has been warning about getting rid of the console for over 10 years now.

I experience input lag real bad on the 4k max still.

I'm not so sure many have the infrastructure to facilitate such. I'm in the UK, very patchy connectivity with a router. Oddly, my mobile phone gives faster connection on 4g! Full fibre connection has trunking in street but no cable. I had a series X sold it, along with PS5. Had a break and got an S. It seems as good as X only thankfully much smaller than the big black box. Probably cheaper to run too for power consumption. Oddly, not struck with PS5, like Forza 5 and 4 which they are getting rid of it seems. Love it as 4 driving is on UK side of road😊

People are forgetting that Microsoft is obviously moving away from the console space. This time around console longevity is growng shorter. I have a ps5 and noticed newer games are starting to run into a performance wall, same with my Series X let alone the fact console exclusives are still ending up on PC. Final Fantasy is a perfect example of how what made console gaming special is now hurting game releases.

Recently I played through the Xbox app on my laptop and even though I don't have the greatest and fastest internet speeds, I was amazed by how good it was. Mind you, I would never play or try to play COD through streaming, but I was able to do so GTA by myself and I can see any other game with similar experiences to be that good. However, I don't want Xbox to leave the console market. I don't want Sony to be the only option to go for in a market that only consists of 3 main competitors. I will gladly skip PS on this gen even though Xbox is fluking.

I sometimes play on my quest 2 and I always find a smooth connection with no lag when using a playstation 4 controller but with an xbox one S controller the latency is awful so I just stick with the first generation playstation 4 controller whenever and wherever I use cloud streaming

Xbox does not make any money from selling consoles. In fact, they sell consoles at a loss and makeup for that loss when people buy games and accessories. Most console manufacturers follow this same strategy.

All these new things are confusing as **ck. I’ve noticed most disks don’t load on my Xbox 1 also after Call of Duty introduced war zone I couldn’t play modern warfare 2 and I noticed literally 1000s of other players couldn’t get the game to work anyone else had this problem?

It's cloud, not native. It doesn't replace a console its just a low cost entry point.

I always travel with a fire stick. This is a game changer for those week long stays in hotels.

Stick drift on Xbox controllers is the same as it is. Anywhere else. However, there is a left and right bumper issue that can happen.That you seem to have faced. And the bumper buttons can be solved yourself if you are a mechanically, inclined individual. They've just popped the controller apart and hit the button with a little silicon spray.Good as new.

I was but a child in the year 2001 when Xbox first came out. I will always be a fan of Xbox and PlayStation and as long as they keep making new consoles with disc capabilities or chip or cartridge, I will always buy one.

I’m actually planning to trade in my Series X towards a PS5 Pro, seeing as the new white Series X is digital only and the Galaxy Edition with disc drive is only available from Microsoft’s online store, both signs that Xbox is going digital only! I’ve been an Xbox fan since the original Xbox, I still love both it and the 360 to this day, but if Xbox go digital only, I can no longer buy new Xbox products! I’m still going to get more games and peripherals for my OG Xbox and 360, and I MIGHT get a DuchesS controller for my gaming PC next summer (although I might get a Retro Fighters Mantis controller for that instead!) but I didn’t even want an Xbox One in the first place with its mandatory installs and shit! I ONLY got an Xbox One in 2016 after 3 years of resisting because my Mom INSISTED I get one after my Jasper 360 RRODed, ignorant that even with the added backwards compatibility the year before, it’s STILL not a 100% Xbox 360 replacement! I am sick of my Mom using the “It’s old technology” line on me whenever one of my retro gadgets goes wrong! I know they often are fixable, she just often doesn’t get it! I did get an Xbox 360 E shortly into 2017, thankfully! Still, since the PS4 and Xbox One came in late 2013, new games mostly haven’t been as exciting!

Do NOT support cloud gaming. It's the first real foray into allowing companies to charge you for software you don't own and cant use offline. Plus it's worse quality than local processing in every conceivable way,. You WILL end up paying a monthly subscription for each individual game if these greedy companies think people are stupid enough to pull it off. Don't let them, don't support cloud gaming.

My biggest problem with FF14 is that its too pay to play heavy. Every other FF game is amazing and great but FF14 is something i dont got that kind of money for. Having to buy the initial game, then all the dlcs, and then a subscription on top of that, the thought gives my wallet cancer

The cloud play is only good for slow-moving games; anything that relies on quick responses like Skyrim stinks on it.

I've played console since colecovision to PS3 then went full PC never looked back it's fun to see both Xbox and Sony put the final nails in the console coffin.

I used the first and second Elite controllers and I love paddles however I had a lot of drift issues and my series two has been sitting around collecting dust since about a week after the warranty expired. I decided to try the Fusion Pro which unfortunately is wired but since I play at a desk its not really an issue for me. I will say it is a great controller and I have since upgraded to the 2nd and 3rd versions. I have had a small amount of drift after about 1-1.5 yr use but I get them from Best Buy and with the protection plan I just upgrade to the next model with only a small extra cost with adding the protection plan as well any any price difference. If you like elites but don't mind wired I highly recommend the Fusion Pro. Side note though I doo prefer paddles over buttons (like on the Pro 3) but paddles do have a habit of being bumped and falling off so pros/cons in both.

As a PC gamer, I personally feel the only draw towards any console is for exclusive games. It's the only reason I have Nintendo and Sony devices. If Xbox is just selling PC games within a walled garden with nothing different to offer, I can't see any point in creating a second library of the same games.

The games on Xbox game pass are ass any way. It's basically geo force now but on your TV in the long run you pay more for the subscription rather than just buying the Xbox it's self.

honestly the only way I play console games is through xCloud. 😅 it's pretty decent and I always like to think that this will be the worse it will ever be as it will only get better. I like that I get a whole categlog of games that update daily. I like that I don't have to download any game files or updates. no worrying about storage space. plus I get to check out games I would normally never buy. some I end up actually liking.
