So this is a new feature where Microsoft are using Microsoft Loop in Microsoft Teams meetings to, hopefully, make your note-taking lives a little easier, but we'll go and have a look to see if that is true or not.

Thanks, Gavin, for a thorough review once again. Such a shame that Microsoft have decided to remove the Meeting Notes tab - it was working well for us. The replacement, Loop Components, is not going to work for us as we have to come off VPN in order for it to work, which means we can't access documents etc in our Network, and external attendees won't be able to view the Loop Component either. Microsoft's solution has been a backward step for us. We are looking at using OneNote in our meetings from here on in, to record meeting notes.

Sorry to hear that this feature has actually broken functionality for you, but OneNote should hopefully "fix" what you ned to do 👍 If you click the help icon in the bottom left of Teams and then "give feedback" I would copy and paste your comment so that MS can see this impact directly. Feel free to copy and paste the video link too.

Is there a way that we can generate the meeting notes automatically during the meeting or after by using the meeting transcript?

Yep, but you will need a Copilot add-on licence: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JAZEOzgy6Do.html Right now, this will generate a summary (or any other prompt you give it) during or after the meeting, but to update the "collaborative notes" in Loop, you will need to copy and paste these in for other to see. Coming soon, Copilot will type into the collaborative notes for you, just like having a virtual collegaue do it for you - more details here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BICoZa9Vqhk.html

I can see one dealbreaker regarding this. A person sets up a meeting and gets the loop component in his onedrive. What if this person quit? The account gets deleted and the information will no longer be available to others i presume. Is this the case, and is there a plan for this? Or a workaround? The best would be if you choose a channel and the .loop-file was stored in sharepoint in that channel, but when choosing a channel, the loop option disappears.

"Vitamin D" is not a "fat-soluble vitamin", it's a prohormone properly referred to as cholecalciferol that is synthesized from a cholesterol derivative in the skin and stored in the liver as calcidiol (25-hydroxycholecalciferol) and converted to the steroidal hormone calcitriol (1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol) in the kidney as needed. It follows that the term "insufficiency" is more appropriate than the term "deficiency" because "vitamin D" is *not* a "nutrient" (any more than phytoestrogens are nutrients), and oral ingestion of "vitamin D" is essentially equivalent to hormone replacement.

@@MeeTimeSorry, I posted this to the wrong channel, obviously! (A good example of "with enormous power comes enormous responsibility", perhaps?) My question for this channel was "Can this next-level app be fully incorporated into Teams meetings with people *outside* one's organization (which are fairly common in the public sector, at least)?".
