Microsoft Teams and Slack are two behemoths in the collaboration tools space, but which one is better for your business? We go over the key features and limitations of each option to help you decide which tool is right for you.
Thanks for this, I'm part of the M365 camp. Also, what are your thoughts on using Teams as a freelancer? Can you throw out invitations to clients for video conferences and instant messaging channels while restricting their access outside of that?
Hey Jawa - Great question. Teams is great for inviting third parties but I will say Zoom has a higher adoption rate so more people have Zoom installed on their workstations. That being said, Teams is great if you are looking for video conferencing and instant messaging. Just note that they need Teams installed on their workstation and have a free M365 account to access it.
@@taywells WoW, I got the notification for your reply 5 days later. Thanks though. I have a follow up question: does this mean that it doesn't really make sense for freelancers to commit to Teams for video conferencing with clients because of its low adoption and the prerequisite that teams be installed on their computer?
