Opened the actual delivery package ahead of time. The video is the first time I opened the box. Extremely happy with the quality of this knife. Size comparison with Lightening OTF at the end and a bunch of detailed photos
I live in the uk so I have zero chance of going to buy a real one cause automatic knives are illegal here. I definitely haven’t got a nice collection from AliExpress tho.
Great video unboxing...short and to the point without 25 minutes of standing there talking just to hear your own voice! Thank you for making it short, though I confess I could have used a few more minutes of just looking at that fine specimen of Halo V from China! I know quite a bit about guns and knives having built a fair number over the years and in the closeups of your video it's easy to see excellent detail despite loss of clarity due to video compression. The appearance of the knife in view is equal to that of other videos showing close-ups of the MT produced version costing 10-12x more $$$. The screws look crisp and well-seated, and the firing button is well frosted. The body looks well-mated and the blade is very thick and stout all the way out to near the tip. The markings are all close to the genuine article and for a $650 discount I can live with a little variation. The knife appears to fire with a solid chunk and retraction looks equally smooth. I like the para-military look of the serial number even though it's just for show and so much the better because only a complete buffoon wants to carry around a knife with a serial number on it! Bad enough we have them on firearms. This is a knife that looks fully capable of being used for it's intended purpose. Of course one can find any number of videos where someone is intentionally trying to break a knife blade, and ANY knife blade can be broken...OTF knives aren't intended for chopping trees, or stabbing the tip into hard wood, then yanking it sideways to see what breaks - none of that has anything to do with using a knife against a human who moments before it was produced, though HE was the aggressor.
Thanks for checking out the video. I highly recommend buying any of these knives through DHGate. I have never been disappointed and bought many over the years at 10% the price of the real thing (not to mention, I cannot buy the real thing in the state I live in because they are (ridiculously) illegal here). This is really my only option.
Lance Larymore I’m in a state where these are illegal to buy or sell. Buying from China or in a kit for is the only way to get them. Just buy it from China for a 10th of the price. It’s a win-win.
DMT_Nexus710 DHgate is like eBay. There are sellers and products. Most likely that seller sold out. Good news is if you just go to www.dhgate.com and do a quick search for “halo knife”, you’ll find more choices that you can think of. I have bought many knives from dhgate and have NEVER been disappointed. Probably all different sellers. Best of luck to you.
@@zdub8438 Well... The last knife I bought from China was a couple years ago. Since then, the world has become a different place, unfortunately. I'd say I waited about 2 - 2-1/2 weeks tops for any knife I have bought. I can say that the communication with sellers has always been pretty good, in my experiences (I have also bought several musical instruments from China over the years). Have you messaged the seller at all?
i live in England its stupid trying to get a real one through customs, not going to happen so we /i have to buy from China atleat they wrap in silver foil I have been using mine for two years on and off (they`re super ilegal here) and its still fires out fast
Lance Larymore sorry. It would be illegal for me to sell. I actually collect. Good luck. I highly recommend buying through DHGate. I have bought several and have never been burned on a transaction.
@@MotivatedMetalworks Actually, no... there isn't. I just find what I want... check to see if there are more than one vendor selling the same thing and look for the best price. You will notice that MANY of the vendors airbrush out buttons and guards (mostly on the traditional Italian looking models - which is very silly). But I have received what I was 'hoping' for, every time. I really don't buy too many. I have maybe bought 10 so far (all completely different).
