I want to understand how they work? Can they be charged with a 12 volt battery ? Battery is direct current how are they charged in a microwave? And what determines when it releases its charger ?
Capacitor is a device like battery but unlike battery they discharge almost immediately. They are used for smoothening the current fluctuation. You can make one with the help of aluminium and some wire and hold them at a very close distance but don't let them touch each other. They can be charged by 12 V battery but it's discharge won't be that big. If you put the in house plug point they might discharge aggressively with a spark but i won't recommend that cause once i tried that and my house fuse broke and my dad gave me a nice beating. Capacitors cam be charged by any form of correct weather it's DC or AC it doesn't matter as long as there is a flow of charge they are good to go. I hope it helps 🙏🏽.
This is Ac capacitor.. If you try to charge this with Ac voltage it can handle more than 2000 volts please don't try to charge.. It is very dangerous... 🙏
