I often microwave a cup of coffee ... because I sometimes forget my coffeemaker , when I edit my own videos, or watching others ... same thing, no problem at all ! 30 sec or 1 min in the micro and it is as good as new 😊
As a husband and wife we had planned to travel around the uk, pre COVID we were going to buy a motor home but then we decided to buy a caravan but due to a long history with prostate cancer that was being dealt with we didn’t do anything. He began to have heart problems, that were treated but 14 weeks post-op, he passed away, that week we put a deposit on a caravan that would suit our car because of the of the weight, unfortunately I became widowed, that week. I’m thinking of buying a vw van I admire you commitment and determination to travel. I hope over a period I will be able to achieve this. X
I am so sorry to hear about your loss and that you never got the chance to go caravan travelling with your husband, and I admire you for wanting to go solo. I wish you all the best on your future adventures and I'm sure your husband will be there with you in spirit. Thank you very much for watching my videos.
Thank you . I’m going to the caravan sales where would of bought our caravan from because they have a vw camper and a ford and I want to see if I can test drive them. Wish me luck. 🤞
Lovely quiet walk in the woods ( very quiet! ! ) you had the whole day to yourself. Winston’s tail never stops wagging . Thanks for sharing your adventures, but you can keep Winston’trump hahaha ,take care young lady 🐕🦺👍
Wow, I've watched a few of your episodes & recently came across them. Thoroughly enjoy your show & finally met Winston, how special getting a rescue & the bond between you two is incredible, he's adorable, keep sharing your adventures even tho looks freeeezing over there.
It’s still not warm over here, and it’s June!! 🙈😅 Thanks so much for watching. I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying our videos. A new adventure series will be starting soon 👍🏼
I’m currently binge watching your videos Roz. They are keeping me sane while writing reports. Loving your adventures. Question, what do you do for work?
I'm a self-employed digital marketer 👍🏼 Mainly search engine, social media, and paid for advertising stuff. Thanks so much for watching and following our adventures. 🙏
Great vid, Welsh cakes are so good with butter on them! That brew looked good too, a real builders brew. Watching you from our caravan whilst away in Shropshire, chilling out after a really stressful 6 months of family disasters, the caravan is really our only place we can chill out. Watching you and Winston helps too! Keep up the good work 👍
I agree, the Welsh cakes did taste better with butter. Hope you're having a lovely time away and the weather is being kind to you. Thanks so much for watching.
Fancy wasting a brew. Lol. Could of spent age's looking at the equipment for logging. Caravan site looked excellent. Great watch yet again. Thanks Rozz and Winston 😊😊
@@Roz.S I loved the Mercedes tractor. Stuff like that is so interesting. Pity nobody was around to ask about the logging operation. Take care and looking forward to the next adventure
As usual love Wales. Great video too. Nice when th ere aren't too many peeps about. We're over in the UK staying in rural Leices tershire surround by fields. Very few people around. Discovering the delights of Nordic hiking. Have you ever tried it? Might not be pr atic al with Winston. Sorry for.the typos. My Kindle Fire.is rubbish. 😂
😅 That message took me a while to decipher and I had to Google Nordic Hiking 😅 I would be open to trying it, but in general I like to have my hands free. Thanks for watching and commenting, I hope you're having a wonderful time in Leics.
@@Roz.S I have back problems and a tendon issue in my left ankle. My wife suggested the nordic thing, but I didn't like the idea of looking like an old f**t walking with 2 sticks. Of course that is just plain stupidly on my part. The sticks really do help me to walk well and after about 20 mins I feel better and am not hobbling so much. So I'm converted. Trouble is, it will be impossible to walk Dolly our dog at the same time. Bon continuation... 👍🏻
I watch too many crime shows too i would've been concerned about the noose things too 😅..cool Old tractors. Never knew Mercedes made tractor..its my daughters name also 😊
I had a little laugh when you thought you had walked to the hangmans gallows 😂 . Them welsh cakes look lush but i would have smootherd them with butter . Give Winston a hug from me . 👍
I can't think of what else they would be used for other than gallows! 🤔😅 I did but putter on the other welsh cakes; they tasted much better then! Thanks for watching.
Hi Roz, we have a 2018 Go Pod (which has an oven) for just over a year and used it a few times which have been brilliant. Our main complaint is the massive front cushion, getting things out of the front lock is quite tricky, have you heard of any solutions to this? Thanks and keep the videos coming.
Yes, the anything under the front seat is almost impossible to get to. I just recently had to battle with it when my bed slats got stuck. Tbh, I try not to store anything under the front seat for that very reason, however I do know other Pod people that have removed the hinges and they say that has made it easier. If you're on Facebook, join the group "Go Pod Owners (Go Podpals)," they often have creative solutions for problems such as this. Hope that helps and thanks for watching our videos.
@@Roz.S cake, like banana loaf - I've just tried the first one now using the air fryer but it did have a bake option. Turned out very well. Though the banana's were at the wrong end of the ripeness scale...
I know what you mean; he doesn't even taste it!! 😱 But I wouldn't of been able to eat all of it on my own along with all the other food, and I did buy it reduced with him in mind 😇 Thanks for watching.
You should stich some cord to your gloves and run the cord through the sleeves...haha you look like a one year old but you wil never loose your gloves again....lol
I like your comment that have your wishes come true and you're all alone. I often think that and the obvious question of how would I manage on my own. I think I've read The Stand by Stephen King too many times. 😃😃😃
Great video, Roz. Can’t beat a relaxing day just pottering, give the soul time to catch up. But microwaved tea? It’ll be air fried chips next😉 Cheers for taking us along, glad the weather’s improved.
@@samuelbeckett4632 Yeah it's just another thing to carry though. And I don't use much gas anyway; 3.9kg lasts me about 6-months. I'm trying to travel with less, not more 😂
I would recommend getting a hotel Chocolat velevetiser they come in very handy not just for making chocolate drinks but I also use mine to make coffee as well sadly I found some flavored sachet coffees don't seem to dissolve properly but in the velevetiser one smooth coffee also if my cup of tea gets cold (I've got a one cup water boiler) make sure no bag left in pour into velevetiser push button and it does the rest no waste. For an old dog Winston is very sprightly.
You can see brand new pods at Red Lion Caravans in the North West of England, you’ll also be able to see them at a lot of caravan shows. You can also go into the Go Pod website and find “owner viewings” where you can put in your post code and it will show you your closest go pod owners that you can contact to have a look at their pod. When it comes to buying second hand, some are available at Red Lion and Three Shires Leisure, and also on the usual marketplaces such as Autotrader and EBay. Hope that helps.
That was spooky and we're safe at home. The machinery looked 👾. alien. Now you know why kids have gloves sewn onto sleeves😅 And just got to mention wasted cuppa😮 . Absolutely lovely to see you and adorable Winston, thanks for taking us along. ❤
I’m always looking forward to see your videos. I like to watch the landscape with you and in a funny way it’s like I’m walking with you even tough I can’t. What struck me this time is that you went for a walk in the woods and then was surprised that you didn’t see anything else but threes😂😂. Your question about heating up the tea in the microwave, I saw the reviews and now do believe this isn’t British 😂, I’m Dutch so I don’t see the problem but you had a bit of comments about that. Thank you for yet another entertaining video. I love them.
I thought that if I went to the top of the hill, I would get to see above the trees, but nope. Just more trees 😂 I think I may lose my British Nationality over microwaving a cup of tea 😅🙈 Thanks for watching.
Evening Roz. Just watched your vlog glad your taking R&R days it can be exhausting work and travel and adventure... Winston looks very bouncy and happy on his walk .. Stay safe be safe and see you next week. Frank Spain
Just a quick technical question: which editing app do you prefer when making your videos? I'm thinking of starting my own vlog and I'm not sure what apps are easier or more practical to use.
I use Adobe Premiere Pro for editing. It's a very good piece of software but it does have a steep learning curve. The first few times I used it, I hated it. And I had to watch a lot of tutorial videos to learn how to use it. But once you've got the basics down, it's fantastic. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and best of luck with your vlogs. 👍🏼
@Roz.S Thanks for responding to my question about video editing apps, Roz. I've seen the screen shots for Adobe Premier Pro and it does look complicated. But as long as I can find tutorial videos for it, I'm willing to give it a shot. Thanks again.
Another entertaining vlog. Loved the design of the cup with Winston and yourself enjoying a peaceful environment. I now know why mittens used to be attached with string. Memories flooded back when you explained why you had the pod door open. Great stuff totally enthralled by your vlogs and can't wait for the next it looks like fun was had making it.
Thank you, the mug was a present from a friend. I'm in my mid-30's and I think I need to put my gloves on a string 😅 Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching.
Was that our Paddleboarding video on Windermere in the Lake District? That video was recorded last year just before summer, I think the temperature was about 20C. Quite warm, but a bit windy out on the lake. Thanks so much for watching. 👍
Much as woodland is my favourite place to be, some woods are just spooky and I find that tends to be fir tree woodlands, not deciduous. But nice to have the walks to yourself; sometimes you just need no people to really switch off. Looks like a nice campsite too.
Hi Roz, the first part of the video with the abandoned tractors and beams etc: did feel quite dystopian, sort of… “The Handmaid's Tale” till the excerpt of someone leaving the toilet seat up…Then we had “The Winston waggy tail” to restore the balance…Great vlog and the campsite not too expensive either!
Welsh cakes are wonderful things to eat with a cup of coffee anytime at all 🏴 . We love them just as they are. Nice video, glad you've enjoyed my home country. Nos da Roz & Winston 😴
I would have put the tea in a pan and heated it up(gently) Roz or just have it cold like an iced tea (with milk) but I'm a bit weird.😁I think our imagination goes into overdrive when we are alone and see things we consider odd, so you're not the only one! I'm sure Winston cared not a jot when he was eating ham (his piggie). So glad you got a better day for your walk.See you on the next one.Safe travels.
I can't drink cold tea, so I resort to microwaving 🙈 I don't know what else those log structures would be used for? 🤔😅 Winston and I shared some crackling off a pork joint that I roasted the other day; he loves his piggie this way 😅 Thanks for watching.
Hello and hello, Oh I think you don't have to be afraid in the forest. Your Winston will be on the lookout in case someone is there. With tea that has become cold, you can of course warm it up, it's no problem or just drink it cold. Until last year we also went camping with a hobby caravan. But my health no longer allows it. Unfortunately. Have a good time and stay healthy, VG Oldie👍
Winston is the worst protection dog; he would be more scared than me 😅 Sorry to hear about your health, but I hope you had lots of adventures in your caravan. Thanks so much for watching.
As usual Roz a great video, thanks for sharing. Yep, I would microwave the tea! It must be doubly tough when Winston trumps in the van if he fans it around with his tail hahaha! John B
Glad I'm not the only person that uses a microwave in this way! 🙌 I wish Winston's tail would blow it away! It sometimes lingers for too long! 😷 Thanks for watching.
Thanks for another great video Roz. Love it I do think though it’s time you connected your gloves with some string and threaded them through your sleeves. 👍🏻
I honestly don't know how I've managed to keep this pair of gloves for so long! 😅 I frequently lose one (or both) but I always manage to find them again. Thanks so much for watching.
Really enjoyed that vlog, Roz. I’d love finding all that machinery in the woods and having a good nose around. You have a very vivid imagination. Woodland gallows and the last woman on earth. You really hit that reduced to clear section hard. We’ll have to agree to disagree about the toilet seat😂
The machinery was an exciting find. I should have had a proper look around them, but I was afraid someone would jump out of the bushes 😅 I love the yellow sticker section; it's my first stop at any supermarket 😅👍 When I'm at home, I can freeze my yellow sticker buys until I want them, but when in the Pod, I need to eat all of my purchases 😅 Wait until you've fallen arse first down a toilet bowl, and you might change your mind 😂😂 Thanks for watching 👍
@@Roz.S as a bloke, it's a bit frustrating when you just want a wee and you get agro for any splashes in the seat. So you have to lift the seat up which means extra time and having to touch the seat. Then you have to remember to put it down. I think it's the responsibility of the sit down wee-er to put the seat down when required. Just turn the light on and check the position of the seat before you sit down. Yes, I've had this discussion before😂
@@matthewvaughan6327 I prefer the full seat down (top closed) when in the bathroom. When I go to the loo I lift the lid, sit and pee, drop the lid, and then flush. So, if both agree to keep the lid closes, then it's the same amount of work for both of us when going to the toilet. Failing that, you can have their own urinal put in the bathroom or just pee in the sink 😅😅 P.S. I didn't expect this discussion to go this far 😅
😂😂 but if you go to pee and find the seat down, the worst thing that's going to happen is that you're going to get a little bit of pee on the seat (if you have poor aim). If I go to pee and the seat has been left up, my arse falls down the bowl, my knees get squeezed up to my chest, and I get stuck. 😂😂
@@Roz.S I was drinking a cup of (non-microwaved) tea when I read that and you now owe me a new keyboard. I'm sure that there are people out there who would pay good money to see that happen though. 😁
@@deanstuart8012@deanstuart8012 The worst is when that happens in the middle of the night, and it's dark and you're half asleep. It feels like someone has pulled a chair out from underneath you as you go to sit down 😅
That whole set up you found yourself in reminds of a horror film “The Hills Have Eyes” creepy! With regards to glove situation you owt to do what mum did for me, attach string to both gloves run the string through the arms!!!! Just a thought!!😂😂
