you do the best tutorials known to man.....I bought the legends because of you..... I've had them a month and I hadn't used them..,.. I'm just waiting for that heart attack I'm going to have when i start blending with them!!!! I also have the fast feeds but they didn't impress me until I bought the purple guards that everyone uses with them and NOW I can see how good they are..... trust..... those guards are like 90% of why the fast feeds are good and i knew I would find the secret!!! But I still love the way Wahl clippers blend and I can't wait to use my legends..... please don't stop your tutorials.... thanks in advance
Still learning as well and it’s particularly hard trying to cut yourself (learning to hold the clipper, orientation of your hair as it appears in the mirror and proper control on your scalp 😫😖). I take a high bald fade, but I do believe I’m starting from too high up making my first guide line. Stay with it. You’ll only get better the more you do it.
Good advice, leaving the edges dark therefore eliminating the Toppik touch. Also, stretching the Skin. I observe how some clients have excessive Skin that really bulk up and some of Barbers press to hard.
1. Initial guideline with clipper , 0:30 seconds 2. Bald it out 0:38 seconds 3. 1 1/2 gaurd all the way open 1:10 , knock some off the top and make everything even 4. Clipper fully open 1:58 second guideline , go up inch , 5. 2:21 clipper fully closed , knock out line from above and open level but by bit 6. 1 gaurd fully closed 3:51, go up and inch again 7. 1/16 guard 4:38, half way open , get rid of line from above , then close it to get bottom line out 8. 5:50 spot mopping, going back, and getting rid of dark spots, using corner of blade , 9. 1 1/2 gaurd fully open 6:37, last guard we use , go against the grain to blend, and close the guard as well 10. 7:50 , 1 gaurd fully open , go under 1 1/2 gaurd , 8:45, gradually close gaurd to blend it out 11. 10:54 line up 12.11:45 line up 13. 12:20 line up 14. 14:14 line up razor

Yea I think its possible with that clipper/guard combination. However, you made need to use clipper over comb technique. It all depends on your cutting style/methods. Hope my answer was helpful
do you recommend the wahl legends? Is the lever length similar to the fast feeds? And I heard the crunch blade tends to cut ppl does that happen with yours?
Tristangg I definitely recommend the legends! Now I will admit, you do have to be careful to adjust the crunch blade if you're zero gapping them because the teeth are really fine, but once you get them set right, the blade takes the hair off effortlessly. It's definitely my favorite clipper. And to me the lever doesn't open up as far as the fast feeds. I feel like the fast feeds have longer teeth
