Wow! I love how spacious this house look and feel. Very clever interior space planning. Everything was well executed from design, Furnishings and lightings. 👍👍👍
So much attention to detail! It's luxury without looking ostentatious, curated yet comfortable, elegant yet practical. I love how this design actually takes the home owners' lifestyle into account. I feel like this is not only beautiful, but truly livable. I love it!
Beautiful design! This is probably my favourite home renovation design i've come across on youtube. The attention to detail without going too over the top is commendable.
Love this! Would be great at the end of the video to show a cost breakdown of the final outcome 🙏 Would love to know the cost for a full apartment renovation like this.
Beautiful and mostly thoughtful except for the missing shower glass doors/screens where water is going to splash out. But maybe they were hidden from view.
In the midst of initial renovation process myself with a similar theme, won’t be surprised if the entirety of this project costs upwards of sgd 100k. I’m not saying it is a good or bad thing, the fact is that some people have bigger budgets which is good on them.
Very beautiful design, the intentionally breaking away from standards reminds me of criticism to western architectural standards by Junichiro Tanazaki.. meaning the though that went behind this design is great. What amazes me most if the finish quality everything looks clean and fits perfectly, i.e the execution is :chefs kiss:
Pretty much 10/10 for the entire house, but the common bedroom is really made too puny. Any photos of what it turned out to be? Looks like something that is not so habitable though which is a huge downside

you're an absolute maverick: this is such an incredibly well-designed space! it's so well-intentioned, pays attention to detail, and beautifully designed. how much was this renovation?
looks really cosy...gives me a retro feel somehow...but I dun think concrete screed floors work in homes cuz of the cold feel to feet...the wooden blinds are aesthetically nice but will gather dust in no time...
Very beautiful, moody and sensual space. Definitelyh pegging this video for future reference. I'm from the Philippines and I was really surprised about the bomb shelter. I thought only Israel had these safe rooms in their buildings. What country is this? Taiwan??? May Peace and Safety abound in your country.
What a wonderful space! By the way, what is that object that is stuck to the ceiling of the kitchen? Can you provide the make and model details, please?
overall not bad. mid century Japanese term is a bit too loosely applied. not sure about the half circular mirror interfacing with the classic doors - quite a jarring one. generally good effort nevertheless.
Holy crap that mirror in the foyer fooled me, I thought it was weird why there was extra space there, it didn't make sense to me until I realized it was a mirror.
It's true! There are restrictions on which walls can be hacked and which cannot cause they are structural. Hacking of walls require prior approvals too. In this case, the authorities have given the green light for it.
Yes, you're right. Singapore HDB flats built from the late 1990s are equipped with a household shelter, also known as the “bomb shelter” to shield occupants from shock waves and shrapnel, just in case the city ever gets bombed.
Keeping cement flooring clean is generally straight forward. Normal sweeping and mopping does the work. But there are a few things to note. • clean spills immediately to prevent staining • avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the protective layer • may require periodic resealing to protect the protective layer Also, the installation process is more tricky. It takes an experienced professional to ensure it is smooth and level. Proper materials are also required to prevent impurities that will surface and to ensure its durability. There’s also the curing process that needs to be taken note of. All in all, it can be a beautifully handcrafted flooring with natural waves, crack lines, without grout lines. It’s aesthetic and expansive. That’s provided it is done well, maintained and protected well.
Truly my favorite design even after watching so many renovation videos! Will definitely reach out to Noble Interiors when it’s due for mine (years down 😂).
This is really very well designed. Great use of space, including negative space. Every element and furniture seems properly placed and intentional. Bravo guys bravo.
