Glad I watched this. I've been having trouble with that second guideline because I had that 1 1/2 guard all the way open instead of closed, so I have to spend a lot more time detailing at the end to get it to blend perfectly. Thanks bro. Peace

Hey there Nevin! Big fan over here. Love your cuts. Could you help me out ? I am having trouble fading. I use a cordless supertaper stock version. Is fading easier with another trimmer ? If so, which one would you suggest for a beginner ? I see u using the Gamma allot so thats why i ask. And oh yeah what blade is best and easiest for fading. Thnx allot man!

I’ve been cutting for 25 years. I basically use the exact same method. Only thing that I do differently is after I am done with the guidelines. When I first start fading down, I always start off with a open one guard. I like to go through all of the guards, so it saves me from detailing at the end, but great content.

@@MarioRodriguez-kp8dv I just start off with the trimmer for the first guideline. Then an open Clipper, for the second guideline. Then a 1 1/2 closed for the third guideline. Then I use a clipper over comb technique to get rid of the bulk. Then I start to downfade. Start off with a one guard… open, then closed. Then a 1/16, open then closed. Then open clipper no guard…. Clipper half way closed no guard… then clipper closed no guard…

Whats up nevin, been a barber for 3 months now and been using your system for a 1 month. I like it alot but I noticed that sometimes I have to use the 1 open to make the.5 open to the 1.5closed smoother.( Maybe because of my lack of experience) also I blend the bald line first and do it from open to closed compared to you doing it last and from closed to open. Is there any reason for that or is it just preference?
