Do you store your extracted frames in the boxes and inside for winter? Any moth problems? Looks like a great extracting operation you have. Thanks for sharing.
nice vid Ian. I assume a wax extruder is less efficient for that volume, hence your spinner. do you know how many kg/hour it can take? it is counter intuitive to me to mix all the extracted honey back in with the cappings. (obviously it works, though!) p.s. thanks for all the education. though I don't think I ever want to be that big it is fun to see your systems.
The system has an auger that pulls the honey from the extractor. Pulls it out faster than gravity will drain it out of the extractor. The sump can be overflowed by the auger...
So if you watch this, and imagine a background sound track , what would you chose?? My imagined soundtrack is - " Summer time, and the living is easy..... Gershwin
Ben Little Do you watch that Nova Scotia mine hunters? I believe Canadians and Australians make the best RU-vid channels right now!!! Im American...:-(
Did they flag your video cause of the bit of tunes you had in it? Don't feel bad. Most of our band covers are flagged for copyright also. It's fair use in our case but it doesn't matter. I fight they take the flag off. Then their algorithm just flags again. After a year I just gave up and took off monotization and the ads. If my views ever get to the point that it's worthwhile for You tube to pay attention I'm sure they'll come a knocking.
This is just mid sized? how much...100,000 for all the toys not including building? Im looking to expand in Asheville in a few years. thinking of about 200 hives to start and grow from there. So I need something smaller and used if I can find it.
