I hiked 190 miles from the Mason Dixon Line to Ravensburg State Park. I saw a ton of wildlife and it’s definitely PA’s Wildest Trail as promised. Thanks to the MSTA and all the volunteers!
There are several ways to address the issue. Adjusting your hiking schedule each day, using the trail angels for help and using your best judgement for what works best for you. And most importantly always practice LNT.
It's a fantastic trail that I have a lot of ties to from my childhood. I have a few miles to finish up this year. A friend of mine is thru hiking it this year as well.
