OMG. Your range is SO amazing. I love the variety in languages, and a balance between non-fic and fiction! I'm hoping for THE favorite book of the year soon 🥰 I'm hearing so much about Annie Bot. I have a Fate Inked in Blood on my TBR so I can't wait to see what you think of it.

My reading year has been going amazing! I’m on track for the best one yet, including the most 5 stars I’ve ever read! And yesssss I cannot wait for you to read Annie Bot. I hope you love it

ooohhhh i'd be keen to hear your thoughts on a fate inked in blood! i am tossing up adding it to the list at the moment 😅 all the people i've been looks GORGEOUS!!! i've never been so sad to speak only one language great video!!! can't wait to hear more of your thoughts on some of these books throughout the second half of the year 🥰

Oooh thanks for watching! Lovely to see you around here ^^ There seems to be an almost unanimous request for A Fate Inked in Blood, I think I'll have to prioritize it in August :) Would be curious to hear what you think about it too, if you decide to give it a go.

Le Grimoire d'Elfie looked so cute! I absolutely loved the art style. Sadly, it doesn't appear that I can find an English version for this book👀 Thank you for the shoutout as well! ❤I know we already have one buddy read planed for August, but if you're interested maybe we could add Long Live Evil to our buddy read list as well?

Yeah, I'm always surprised to see some books translated in other languages but not in English! I always expect English to be the first language it'd be translated in, as it would make it so widely accessible, but that's clearly not how it works 😅 Yeah, let's do it ^^ 😈

I'm still trying to decide if I am brave enough to read Circe! It feels intimidating to me for some reason. I really want to read Annie Bot! I had it from the library last month I think? Or two months ago? But I had too many books out at once and didn't get to it. :/ But I want to get back in line for it. Ooh, interesting about The Book that Wouldn't Burn. I only heard about it recently but I was intrigued. Such a bummer it was a disappointment!

Circe is really nice! I think it's worth giving it a try. I understand it might feel intimidating, but I felt it was actually pretty accessible. You don't need to know a lot of mythology, you can just let yourself be carried by the story. Ahhh, The Book that Wouldn't Burn. Yeah, I'm so sad about it, but it's in good part due to the very high expectations I had. I think I'm definitely in the minority here.

Such a lovely video! Love the setting and all your answers and all the bloopers 😂 I would also like to read Annie Bot and Ink whatsitcalled book. Do you have an idea for what you want to read in Swedish? Maybe it’s something we can buddy read as well, if you want some backup! And I will respond to your email btw, I’m a bit overwhelmed at the moment but I’ll try to today!

ahah so many potential for buddy reads :D I have no idea about what to read in Swedish. I usually read fairly easy stuff, either something that I've already read, or like a fluffy romcom (on audiobooks, pretty much always for Swedish). I'd like to read Binas historia by Maja Lunde, but I think this will likely be a bit too advanced for me... Have you read Fourth Wing? I wouldn't mind re-reading it in Swedish, just for the practice XD And no stress about the email - this is supposed to be fun, not more work ^^

@@Curious-Cat Ok good, I can just say here that I’ve requested a physical copy from the library of the time war, because I can’t listen at the moment, and I think it will help my understanding as well, I have no concept of who is who of red and blue! 🤪 I haven’t read fourth wing but if i did i would probably prefer to read it in english. there is a book called Stacken by Annika Norlin which is supposed to be good, group of odd friends, I don’t think it’s overly complicated, supposed to be funny. dont know much more, Just one I have been seeing everywhere. I also have Little fires everywhere, herravälde, another Backman book. Would you prefer a swedish book or an international (english) one that’s been translated to swedish? I would probably have an easier time finding either one if I don’t already have it, so it’s probably better you find some options! 😂 I Would prefer fantasy to romance i think, or something different, but i’m flexible. Also, I’m typing on ipad so don’t judge my writing!

I feel it's really slowing down my reading in general, so I might start something else for now... maybe still try to read it in small chunks in between other things. I'll see if there's something I'm tempted by in Swedish and will let you know ^^ And no worries about the writing - this is a safe space 💞 (also, I don't really pay attention to that)

@@Curious-Cat Yes I'm fine! Thank you 😊 Not perfect, but will be soon! I'll let you know when I get my copy from the library and then we can tackle this beast together. I am determined. But absolutely read something else in between! Haha no I didn't think you'd judge me, just joking, I just got annoyed and couldn't be bothered to correct anything. On the computer I can type and on the phone it autocorrects a bit better but the iPad is just no help at all 😂 It's like baking with a 3yo.
