I did a smallish mid-year declutter of my entire makeup collection. Gotta keep it curated so that I am mindful of what I am using, buying, etc.

Wow! That was a great declutter! I’m still very clingy to my palettes. I do have a handful of palettes I could get rid of but I’m not ready. Buuuut…I’m also not buying new ones at the moment. Trying to hold out til Black Friday. This was fun to watch! Have a great rest of your Sunday!😊❤️💄

Hi Makaela, I am happy for you with this declutter, if a product doesn’t work , get rid of it, have you tried the lipstick that you don’t like,to use it as a blusher or blush topper?, if this idea doesn’t work out & no one( Friends) want it I would get rid of it, don’t feel bad it’s taking the space for something really good in future. Maybe you can use the highlighter under your foundation. I think it’s called underpainting. I’ll put a big streak of cream bronzer, blush & highlighter underneath my foundation then I’ll use the same in powder form on top and it really holds up to this humid hot weather! My skin eats up my cream products so I really love underpainting

I’ve heard of Project Beauty Share ( I believe that’s what it’s called) from Taylor Wynn. They take gently used items as long as you sanitize it.

You made some good choices for your declutter. I’m the same regarding matte lipstick. It’s too drying for me. Highlighters are ok but they do accentuate my textured skin.

Great declutter!! With bullet lipsticks I give them away to my instagram mutuals because they can either just use them if they want or slice the top layer off.

@@MakeupwithMakaela I sold some of my palettes on mercari and did regret it, I mean I have over 400 so I truly shouldn't but I get kinda like damn.. my collection is huge but I truly just love it
