Um, Midas backstory is actually from Greek legends, and everytime someone would steal something from the Gods, the Gods would give them a wish. This one lady asked for eternal life, but not an eternal body so she was turned to dust, and sat as dust for eternity. Midas stole something and his wish was for everything he touched to be turned to gold, but with that wish he couldn’t eat, because everytime food made contact with his body it would be turned to gold

Didn't he wash the power to turn everything to gold off in a river named Pactolus. It was Dionysus who gave him that tip though. Everything that was turned to gold by his touch could be returned to normal after being washed/bathed in the river.

@@cheesemancer7039 King midas He had a wish that everything he touched would turn into gold He realized his mistake when he killed a man and turned all his food to gold The tragic part is tho that he did not care for the man he killed after he got rid of his power

There is another version where same story except he doesn’t kill someone he turns his beloved daughter to a gold statue and he realized his great mistake and begged the gods to take away the curse and turn everything back to normal and then he became normal and everything when back to normal as well and he became a better king and a loving father
