This is the exciting 2012 Grand Championship match for the Mid-Michigan Middle School Quizmaster's League. Grand Blanc East is 19-0 from the east division and is taking on Flushing, 18-1, from the west. I am the moderator.
Our toss-ups/bonuses are provided by Knowledge Master Open. The format is two halves of 8 minutes timed: 10 points for a correct toss up and a 10-point non-related bonus for a correct toss-up. (No negs.) In the middle is the lightning round: The lowest scoring team picks from three categories. Each category has ten questions and they have 70 seconds to get as many as they can. Anything they don't get to, miss or pass on goes over to the other team for 30 seconds. Then the other team picks from the other two, repeat.
